Afternoon ladies Forgot to come back on the thread yesterday oops. Just made lunch and having a wee sit down before I tidy up. Most of flats ok but I want to gut my bedroom and get it all nicely organised.

A MNer is coming over tomorrow for coffee so going to make some cakes this afternoon for her coming over...then try not and eat them all before she comes in which case she will be eating dry oatcakes as thats all I have.

CWWM hope things get a bit easier. Use Lola feeding lots as an excuse to sit and chat on here with tea

push when do you go on holiday? Sounds good.

muggle whats up with legs and back? Poor you

PlumBumMum · 09/07/2009 15:45

Hi everyone I'm wrecked from babysitting my friends twins and my 3

Need to go and have a look see what we are going to have for dinner, just realised I used all the potatoes last night and have no chicken breasts [ggrrrrr]

Have been away all day so need to see what destruction Lucky has got up to, he is going outside to live soon as he has too much energy for inside the house!

CWWM You're doing really well,
I'll not say shes having a growth spurt, I think ds was constantly having a growth spurt when I had him, the health visitor always seemed to be saying it to me!

Just popping on to post my list before I get cracking. Will read through later if I ever get through all of this (my fault have been playing rather than cleaning this week!). It's a looong list today though and have to get it all done because a friend of mil is coming to see us tomorrow and I know she'll report back to the whole country-at least when mil came she did and when we went out there people made comments about me not being great at housework and not coping with dc and house (in my defence both times MIL has come over I've had a 2 month old so haven't been at my most productive!). Need it to be sparkling and uncluttered so mils friend goes back and says I can cope fine thank you very much AND WITHOUT A MAID LIKE THEY ALL HAVE

Finish unpacking (still!) -
Sort out dd's books -
Tidy playroom -
Reorganise kitchen cupboards (me and my mum hosted a pampered chef party and I got loads of free stuff with the points so need to find a home for it) -
Put away baskets of clean clothes x 4 -
Hoover upstairs -
Mop floors - have to wait for dh to get home with new mop cos he broke the other one while I was away
Hoover again -
Cook dinner -

Thanks for the good luck wishes. TBH am not doing well at all so far, just not in the mood and can't be arsed.

I moved the washing machine over 6 inches or so to make slightly better use of space but really hurt my knee in the process and have just stubbed my toe while putting the chair covers back on.

DS has just gone to sleep and the second load has just finished so I'll hang that out then try to sort some of the clothes while he is asleep and unable to chuck it all around

CC I bet her kids are not allowed to breath in their house

Anyway exciting news, we went last night and bought a tow behind caravan!

I know that may not be exciting for some but because we weren't able to go away the last 2 summers and if dd1 is in hospital again this summer we won't be able to go away again(besides the fact we can't afford it),

we thought if we got a tow behind we could manage a couple of weekends away and it would be easier for dh with work! Or he can leave me off somewhere comeback home and then come back and get me we have a couple of seaside towns within an hour away

We got it at a bargain price and it needs a little bit of work, but dh can do that and I will take care of curtains etc!

So list!

Start cleaning caravan done
pack sleepover bags for dcs for tomorrow
decide what I'm wearing tomorrow
Clean & tidy kitchen
hang washing out
dishes
lunch
get burgers out of freezer
go to chemist dd1 tabs

lots more but that will do for the minute!
