Hi all - hope everyone keeping busy and getting lots done.

As ds1 keeps taking the sofa cushions off it's given me a reason to hoover under them and give them all a good wipe down (leather obv) - long overdue!

Everything else is just ticking along for today so can't be bothered with a list at this point!

Well I'm shattered tbh, my back and legs are killing me am trying my best to rest tho.

DD went to her big school lesson and didn't do anything her teachers wanted her to do - I apologised to them for her stubborness and they said they would crack that lol

Have been thinking for a while of getting DD a pet - she will be having a hamster - my cousin has got one called Matilda DD loves it and as she has been good throughout me being ill, we've decided she deserves a treat.

Wish I could go to a beer festival or a festival of somesort. I soo want tickets next year.

I changed bedsheets yesterday, the challenge for today is defrosting the fridge/freezer. ALso need to go to Tesco, and read through the stuff I've been given before I meet new work people tomorrow.

Waay too much work this week so haven't been able to get on since Monday

for Muppets' back and legs must be awful for you. HMHB hope your mum is continuing to improve.

JKS creme fraiche icing is not as exciting as it sounds. Just icing sugar added to creme fraiche! I found I needed a surprisingly high sugar to creme fraiche ratio so if you're giving it a try I swould recommend starting with a tablespoon or so of creme fraiche and adding more if you need it. It also benefits from chilling for a couple of hours once made to make it firmer and easier to manage. To lovely though, not too sickly.

Fridge is dripping, not veyr tidily. There's a big block of ice at teh back that appears to have some kind of electrical wire embedded in it. I could rip it out, but I have a feeling that would be a bad idea.
