Okay, I am clearly worrying way too much about this but there are only a few spaces left in the old thread!

(What do I think will happen if we finish without a new list? We'll just make a new one. Relax woman!)

Thanks to alicecrail for the title.

Please finish the old thread before starting on this one - there could be a prize if you are number 1000.

I would try taking him to the saucer and dipping a finger into the milk or food - eventually he might get bored of licking off your finger and start licking directly off the plate.

NBM - Those first injections were horrible.

JKS -

I received minor nipple trauma earlier. DS likes to feed while standing between my legs when I'm seated on the sofa MNing watching TV playing with him in the morning, which is so cute, but had his sleepsuit on as it was before breakfast and slipped on the laminate. Luckily he let go so only a slight graze, but he ended up crying as I shouted. I'm sure there's a lesson there to be learnt about multi-tasking.

I'm tempted to rush some washing on, it's gone really nice out.

WME - PMSL! DS has started trying to latch on at all times - he got me in the shower the other day.
On the shouting, he bit me a couple of weeks ago and I yelled so loudly - he burst into tears and DH came upstairs to find the two of us sat on the bed crying. I felt awful, poor little man didn't know what he'd done.

yey 8.9

wastingmyeducation · 21/05/2009 21:15

Wow JKS! There'll be nothing left of ya!

Ali - Bless! We're off to stay at my Dad's in Wales, can't wait! When we went last summer DS slept nearly all the way there, and all the way back but I think we are going to have a mardy little boy tomorrow! Added to bank holiday traffic over the Woodhead pass, round Manchester, at Queensferry and across Snowdonia and it could be somewhat stressful.

Mmm, meatballs! The recipe I use isn't very thrilling, DS never eats them! DH says they're nice, but I think the memory of how bad they tasted the first time has put me off. I didn't have any breadcrumbs, so used two eggs instead of one. Tasted like pork omelette.

To do:-

  • tidy living room
  • fold travel cot down
  • pack a few toys
  • clean sink
  • wash pots
  • arrange washing on airers
  • mop floor
  • pack more clothes
  • manicure
  • put milk bottles and note for milkman out
  • watch recorded 24

Might be up late!

alicecrail · 22/05/2009 08:57

Good morning all

Poor you and DS jks Are you still trying to find out more information or have you found out all you need for now? Are there certain triggers? I went to college with a girl with epilepsy, and i remember her telling me that to do welding without having a fit she had to do it with one eye closed!

Didn't get into the garden yesterday as my friend asked if we wanted to go to the park instead. We are going to wiggle and jiggle this morning, we haven't been before, so hopefully it will be fun. Also got to pop to post office as apparently they have got something too big to go through the letter box - how exciting!!!

Everyone up done

Morning ladies - skiving off work waiting for cooker man to come round this morning so I thought I would join in with the Friday morning slatterns...

Cooker background - came with house, electric range type thing, broke last year got insurance for it and thank god we did cos now one of the rings won't go off which is quite disruptive and we have to keep the whole thing switched off which means I can't use the dishy either because its on the same circuit (small kitchen).

Ali / Wasting - had forgotten about all the breastfeeding shenanigans. Will look forward to it in October.

Wasting - Welcome to North Wales (we live near Conwy), weather currently cloudy and alledgedly going to rain on Sat but nice on Sun/ Mon. I'm hoping to take DS to the beach on Anglesey maybe.

JKS - impressed by weight loss. Mine on hold till after baby. Will get a Wii fit to help. Hope DS is ok.
