New thead. I am so organised

Bet I cross-thread with FAQ doing the same!

OP posts:
wastingmyeducation · 17/04/2009 13:34

I think of it as a timesheet, a record of where my day went, as well as a reminder of what I need to do.

FAQinglovely · 17/04/2009 13:34

CD - lists on here are for things which need to be done and take time to do. It all eats up space in the day - so if you get to the end of it and have only fed and dressed children and got them to bed you have achieved something

TrillianAstra · 17/04/2009 13:57

I put 'waste time on MN' on my list!

We are the Slatterns, not the crazy-cleaning-FLY-people.

OP posts:
Alibabaandthe40nappies · 17/04/2009 14:04

How weird - a whole chunk missed out there!

Can't be arsed to type it all again - but essentially if you treat a child like a person who can be reasoned with then they pick up on that fairly quickly. Having said that I'm sure there are exceptions.

Blimey I need to get off here and get on - arghhh!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 17/04/2009 14:07

x-posts!

TrillianAstra · 17/04/2009 14:08

Thanks. I won't hijack the slatternliness any more - will start a thread some other time when I can be bothered.

OK Slatterns, tell me this.

We have a couple of friends coming round for dinner. I am making curry. I have made a lamb rogan josh (Jamie MOF) and will be making a chicken passanda (creamy/nutty). There will be rice and nann bread. We're having Poppadoms with stuff to start off, and icecream with meringues at the end. (most of this is prepared in advance)

Should I also do a vegetable side dish thing?

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 17/04/2009 15:03

Or don't tell me, that's fine. I;ll go to food.

OP posts:
wastingmyeducation · 17/04/2009 15:08

Thats ok PBM! He didn't really get that many spots, they're all dried now and the smaller ones are disappearing.
Hope she's feeling better.

Go for it Trillian, side dishes make a meal a treat.

No Alice I didn't think you were bragging either I had 3 as I see it vvv good natural births and I wouldn't like anyone to think I was bragging if I was telling them about it, because if you listen to my MIL natural birth is the most horrific thing ever, so I was try to give the positives, (exp my epsis on G&A obvisously) but again I survived and it wasn't that bad (on reflection )

PlumBumMum · 17/04/2009 18:41

that was supposed to be I aways try to give the positives anyway better go get out of painting clothes

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 17/04/2009 18:52

Hi just catching up with you all.

PlumBum - we must have crossed wires somehow. DS is fine (apart from the potty training obv). No spots atm. He had chicken pox last year. But we used calamine lotion when he had chicken pox and he was fine. Hope your LO gets better soon.

CWWM - I've just had a big cry with the midwife as we were discussing VBAC or Section due to emergency section last time, so I know exactly how you feel with the dilemma between the two. I also would miss the gas and air! BTW it took me ages to recover from the EC!
