PBM - yes we have one hive and the bees have been very busy this year. DH's Dad is coming round today and we are going to extract the honey which will entail donning the bee suits, nicking the honey and retreating to the garage with the combs and putting in the extractor then in jars. It will also mean that there will be no playing in the garden for DS until the bees calm back down obv being a bit hacked off that we have nicked their honey.

JKS - they do remember sometimes and hang about the front door in an aggressive manner. Its only natural, they are just guarding their stores. They forget after a bit and its back to normal.

Got the combs from the hive. Now extracting. Not much honey 15lbs probably. DH is happy though (honey addict). There should be more later in the year.

Morning everyone, DH is working today . Myself and DD1 and DD2 went to see Hannah Montana last night and DH and DS went to see X-Men. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it!!

CC I love Hannah Montana (No choice really) We were singing it on the playstation last night,I can see me in my children they have not inherited my competitive streak at all

I bought one of those bun ring things for her hair and it is beautiful up, so hope I get it right on the day, did a 10 day forecast, rain hope they have got it wrong!

JKS, DH said there was loads of women at the X-MEN, he reckoned that it was mainly to see Hugh Jackmans bum. PBM checked weather for you, and it looks like rain but it could all change by the weekend. Have to go to mass on Thurs for my dads anv mass so will light a candle for you that the weather will be good
