Afternoon All.

Plum - Hope your feeling better this afternoon @ weight loss.

CWWM - How you doing today? And sign of baby yet?

JKS - How is DS today? How you coping?

Today i'm not having a good day, Me, DD and mum went to my nans but done a bit to much as I feel even worse now , knees and ankles started to swell where they weren't up and its not like a walked far either. I look like a big smurf today and its not even that cold

claireybee · 02/05/2009 16:57

Bloody hell plum , that's a hell of a weight loss. Are you drinking diarolyte or at least squash/juice? You need salts and sugars as well as actual fluids (sorry to boss you and you probably know all that but I was on a drip in October because I had gastroenteritis and left it several days before taking diarolye so was severely dehydrated)

Haven't done a list today (I slack at weekends ) but have managed to get me and kids up and dressed, fed us all breakfast and lunch, washed up and wiped kitchen, hoovered, 2 loads of washing washed and on line... Need to think about dinner but yesterdays was disgusting so I'm not motivated to cook.

Am still in a meh mood so dh has taken kids out to beach to give me a break, he hasn't taken either sling, buggy or reins for ds though so either ds is going to run off/get run over/drown in sea or dh is going to come back completely exhausted from trying to keep him under some sort of control. DD is usually quite good but has a tendency to get into her own little world and wander off/not move on when we do and she also has a habit of stopping in the middle of the road so I like to have a hand free for her but I'm not quite sure how dh is going to manage that unless by some miracle ds behaves like an angel child and walks nicely holding dh's hand

claireybee · 02/05/2009 16:59

CWWM Enjoy your new bed! Very , ours is knackered.

Comewhinewithme · 02/05/2009 17:07

Ah see dh broke ours within a month of having it but we've only had it 3 years so have several more of putting up with it ahead! I fixed the frame where he'd broken it and that's now fine but his side of the mattress is completely gone, everytime he gets in the springs all boing (he is unable to get in bed or turn over gently, he always throws himself down).

Morning JKS, hope things are a little better this morning!
Myself and my 3 DDs are up since quarter to 7?? WTF? DD3 was asleep for 12 hrs but the other 2 should still be asleep. Going to make some breakfast and will be back with my list

alicecrail · 03/05/2009 07:54

Good morning slatterns

JKS so for you and ds, but like plum said at least you now know what you are dealing with and can take the next step. And i totally agree with cikecaka on this is just going to be part of who he is now. (sorry, i always try to look on the positive side - i know it drives some people mad ) I'm sure there are others on mn who understand better than we do and can give you some practical advice

Yesterday afternoon wasn't great tbh, i was all dressed up, and felt quite good but we saw a couple of people we know and most of those are the ones who have been not so subtle about what they think of DH going out with (and then marrying) a stable girl! They come over and are like "heyyy, how are you both? " and as doing so sort of look you up and down, and i know i am know i am probably just being nurotic but it makes me feel a bit flat, iyswim? And when we got home i was telling DH about a beautiful burbarry coat in tkmaxx that i had seen that morning, so he said i could get it if i really liked it, and i went in and it was gone! Gutted.

Oh well...

Today i am planning on:
Doing a bit of gardening
Going to waitrose
Trying to make my house look like it belongs to someone and is not just a squat!
Ride the horses
Have a bbq

cikecaka · 03/05/2009 08:01

Oh AC, know how you feel about the looking up and down, still trying to get over my friends 30th birthday, when we were invited for cake and I went in my tracksuit and there was a houseful of well dressed people ! about the coat! Must make my list
