I got a lovely white gypsy style top in New Look, will go well with my short denim skirt

JKS - I love to shop in chichester, is always good to go shopping without the kids in tow and have a spot of lunch

TA the kids were as good as gold. DC2 starting throwing a tantrum just as we were getting in the car, but soon had that under control LOL.

Sounds like everyone is having a productive day. I need to moisturise my feet badly and paint my nails. also need to dig out my white sandals for friday night! am soo looking forward to it.

no worries on the step child front ladies!

I have 2 children with DH and he has 2 chn from previous relationship. DSS is 18 and lives with us when not at uni and DSD is 9 and stays every other week. She has asked to live here full time. DH is very as we thought things were okay with her mum at home but turns out they are not.

We are trying to find out legal side of things etc etc.

Good luck ladm you may find it will be a temporary thing or it may work out so much better. Obviously i don't know the ins and out's of your particular situation, but i love my step mum (her and my dad sadly split up about 5yrs ago) and i still keep in contact with her. I wasn't very nice to her to start with but it was nothing personal and she knows that now, i was only 5! I think she did an amazing job and was always such fun
I have never lived with my mum (apart from when i was very small) and if i had i would either hate her or be somebody i don't like (iyswim?) as it is we get on and have a lot better relationship because i only have to see her in small doses. I know she loves me as much as any of her children but i suspect that in a way she was relieved not to have to be a full time mum.
I hope all does well

Sorry to hijack slatterns
