here you go - new shiny thread all ready for us when the current one fills up

Not sure if people are allowed to join this thread put if they are, i have a list a mile long!!!

To do

wash up DONE
tidy the kitchen DONE
sweep the floor DONE
wash wooden floors downstairs
clean the bathroom and toilets
hoover bedrooms upstairs
sort toys in the playroom
Meet a friend for swimming with our DCs
take old clothes to the charity shop
sort a pile of paperwork
put clothes that Dc's no longer wear in vaccum pack storage bags and in garage
Remove all the stuff in my hallway that should be everywhere else in the house
tidy the conservatory
post nephew's birthday card

I have absolutly no idea where to start in the conservatory. It's covered in toys, clothes, paperwork and i have no where to put anything so i keep moving it around! Maybe i'll just ignore it for a little longer!!

I had been planning to join you as just slatterns, but didn't have the oopmh til this week.

OK start with the clothes.

Move them into the room they need to be in - no need to put away (or wash if they need washing), just put them in the room they belong in - you can sort them out properly once you've done the rest of the conservatory

Then tackle the toys, tidy them up, put away, sort out (ie throw broken ones away, put any you want to get rid of in a bag/box)

Then the paperwork, pile it all up and put it in a box/on the side

Then you can tackle each "bit" in turn.

tbh dd1 & dd2 will probably end up at home again, although they love BIL &SIL, last time they never made it out of the driveway when dd1 changed her mind

I am so slatternly today, have to tidy sitting room it is such a mess!!

PBM he is 11 and gets lots of sympathy from well meaning friends and family because he is the only boy so I think he is a little spoilt .

Bless your dd she sounds just like my dd3 .

I have a lot to thank FAQ for I used to hate doing the housework now I quite enjoy doing it just so I can come back to the thread and have a nosy at what everyone else is doing and I love ticking things off .

Looks like rain is stopping our walk it is bucketing it down so dc are wathing a DVD and I am going to try and superclean will add stuff to list as I go .

Hi, CWWM I have just been through a rough spot with my 12yr old DS, only boy here as well, It was a horrible time for me as he was such a quiet easy going boy to this shouting and angry young man! Required a lot of new rules and boundaries, he knows now I mean business!

SIL has invited out for lunch, but I'm out of credit and DS is asleep on lap and can't reach phone to ring her.
