when was the last time you washed it!

WinkyWinkola · 21/10/2008 22:57

Every two days. Have only four bfing bras so need to keep rotating them!

childrenofthecornsilk · 21/10/2008 23:14

Are you meant to wash them?

mabanana · 21/10/2008 23:14

Best way to wash a bra is in shampoo. HOnest.

Quattrocento · 21/10/2008 23:17

Multiple bras. fresh clothes (including bra) every day. Loverly. One of life's minor pleasures - a wonderful shower every morning followed by getting into clothes that are lovely and crisp and fresh and clean.

ScareyBitchFeast · 21/10/2008 23:18

better go shopping for new bras tomorrow then

OP posts:
LaDiDaDi · 21/10/2008 23:19

I'm sure we've had this thread before.

Every 1-2 days depending on how much activity I've done and if I've worn one for a night out.

ScareyBitchFeast · 21/10/2008 23:20

i thought we had had this before but couldnt be arsed couldnt find it

I take mine down to the automatic car wash and put all the kids in one of the cups for cheap Alton Towers style treat.

handlemecarefully · 21/10/2008 23:23

Ummm - after about 4 or 5 days on account of my norks not being a major sweat zone. I would do it every day / every other day if breastfeeding however (due to leaks etc)

HRHSaintMamazon · 21/10/2008 23:23

seriously?

mine is taken off each day and goes in the wash basket along with that day's clothing.

sometimes if its a coloured bra and it hasn't been washed but i want it to go under a similar coloured top i will do a snif test...but that is very rarely.

FangolinaJolly · 21/10/2008 23:29

New bra daily.Maybe I am a clean freak!

handlemecarefully · 21/10/2008 23:30

Yes seriously - am I a dirty cow?

For the record, I shower daily, change my knicks daily (and socks if worn), change tops every other day and jeans every 3 -4 days. Not yet noticed anyone mouth breathing when stood next to me

ScareyBitchFeast · 21/10/2008 23:33

well exactly hmc,
how can they get dirty every day?

OP posts:
overthehill · 22/10/2008 00:27

The sniff test is good enough for me: if they don't smell dirty then why wash them? Things last longer if they're not washed unnecessarily and there's more to life than constant washing and ironing.

Lauriefairycake · 22/10/2008 00:30

every 3 days - and I don't sniff it

suzywong · 22/10/2008 00:55

3 days here too
sports bra immediately after gym visit though

I shared and uni with a girl who cut all the labels out of her underwear and changed all of it three times a day

bellavita · 22/10/2008 07:32

overthehill beat me to it - sniff test always works well!

FourArms · 22/10/2008 07:35

I'm bfing, but don't leak any more (DS2 is 27m now!). I usually change every day, but if for some reason I haven't got a clean one, then I might wear one for two days. I only have 3 super-comfy bras which I've worn on rotation for 18m now!

nuttyworkingmum · 22/10/2008 07:49

Had to wash mine today ,about 4 days ha eek thats quite grim! bras are blinking expensive if your a size 32F hence I have 3 bras , only 1 fits right when it`s the time of the month .

ScareyBitchFeast · 22/10/2008 09:42

it is on the line now you will be relieved happy to know.
i do have others, only not so new and white
