Well have now completely labelled myself a sad case!!!!

Thought I may try doing missions so as I don't own a toaster and micro blew last week and am not replacing as I never use it I thought I'd clean out the tea pot and cafatiere properly. So I filled a bowl of hot water added a couple of scoops of Oxi-Action stuff and stood in amazement/disgust for quite some time watching all the tea crud bubble out of tea pot and to the surface and now they're both cleaner than ever!!!!!

Anyway I have

Make beds done
Strip paint off bannisters - to be done after ds2 is dropped at school
1 load of laundry to put away done
Declutter some paperwork for recycling tonight
Clean 1 kitchen cupboard

LML I do like my lounge but dh wants to change for something completely different, am desperately trying to dissuade him but luckily I'm the only one that ever decorates so should be ok

Saga Thanks for the good wishes I'm just sorry I can't say what the issue is but it's just so unfair!!!

Crotchetdiva Welcome on board I've only been here recently too!! Love it so far

Waves to everyone I've missed

Hello, the paper stripping is going well

Just stopping for some lunch. Dh has taken the day off to help, so we should get it done by this evening. There is just sooooooomuch paper! It is a very big wall when you look at it from a decorating point of view!!

Afternoon everyone.

LML glad the paper stripping is going well.
tort no summer holiday here either. DP didn't book in time, so couldn't get any. We're going to my mum's though for a few days adn leaving him behind. ( he hates visiting my parents anyway)
baby know how you feel.
crochetdiva welcome to the mad world of FLYing. Well done on the shiny sink, it's lovely to get up to in the morning. What do you teach?
charle sorry to hear about your bad news. Glad the oxi-action actualy works.
Hello jas, TMH, 1-10, EHM, saga, biglips, kitty and anyone else I've missed.

I've done nothing except washing, dried and half put away. Have shined sink though. and done the thigh trainer.
Day started with DD and DS fighting from 7:30 until 9:30 when i put them both to bed. DS has only just woken up DD had about an hour but is still very grumpy but since she has chicken pox suppose she has an excuse.

Had better go and wash up from lunch and then find something FLYlike to do.
Have a good afternoon everyone.

I have decided i will apply for Sun newspaper holiday, Has anyone got Saturday or Sundays paper? Think there was a bonus token. I really need it so i can get it sent off quickly once i have enough tokens. Can anyone send me one? tortoise4@ gmail.com. thanks.

Hope all are ok

Well as there's not enough laundry for even a half load, (ive been doing it everyday now) ive not put any on today.
My downstairs really doesnt need hoovering as we've not made that much mess since yesterday so im not bothering!
ive done the mission done 15min declutter of kitchen shelves infact my kitchen looks pretty fab, have also shined other sink.

Now the only problem is me allowing my dd to play with her Moonsand on the kitchen floor, so will have to go tidy that up soon, but is defo the easiest place to clean up!

Mums been for lunch so thats all done and tidied away, infact feeling rather good so am gonna get baby up and we're all gonna chill out.
My DP bought me a new magazine called SHAPE your life to quote "a new mag for women who want new insight into the emotional and physical issues shaping our lives" so will have a read of that and see how thoroughly depressed it leaves me!

Will then make dinners in a little while.
Just read the rest of yesterdays thread sorry i didnt respond jas but yes i finally got dressed and had a wander around Sainsburys! I love a walk round the Supermarket thats probably quite sad, but true!

Hi all.

Haven't gone to work as DD vomited in the car (twice) on the way in so another day off (will have to make up time some how). She seems fine now and has just had lunch so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Loopy lovely pictures, that paper looks great!
Crochet Hi I work school hours too (I am a physio but do 4hrs/day term time only). I do vey basic flying (no missions) I find it eally good though for routines and making good use of the odd 15mins here and there. I do a bit before school and a bit after school then a bit more after tea (DH plays with DCs) and a bit after DCs bed time. Good luck.
Sircharlie . One of our managers died unexpectedly last yr,it was unimaginably aweful all round.

Kilty I love mags too (guilty pleasure number 101) I'll look out for that one.

Not getting much done. Need to dust and phone MUM. Also trying to make thank you cards for DS imminent party.

Afternoon All TMH Hope your neice is on the mend. She is only young isn't she? It all must seem so unsurmountable for her. I wish her every strength to get through this difficult time.

And I was thinking of you at 3 this morning. There was a woman on called Masha Gessen who underwent the surgery you are facing for the same reasons. Her book is called 'Blood Matters' and it seemed very interesting so I thought I'd pass on the info.

Got to collect Ed from school. I've been down town all day then I came home and made a scrummy pud for tea/dinner. It's layered swiss roll covered in butterscotch angel delight and whipped double cream [slurp] but not tres healthy

Better get a move on...byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

GO she is only 21, so yes, she is young, but in good hands with my SIL.

I have had to my mum her raincoat as she left it at mine, as needs it, 30 min drive, she could have bought one with the cost of deisel at the moment.

Plus I am back taking her shopping in the morning.

Anyway Dinner is on

New potaotes, with cheicken and leaks and carrots

afternoon all. had a busy day took ds to school he's had a veruy wet school trip today! but says he enjoyed it. he has woken in a much better mood has been speaking to me very nicely no sta, ping or banging..
did all my morning lists before 9.30. then my friend and her lo came round for a tea party, first time since october i've felt able to invite someone round with their dc. they played lovely. dd was a bit wobbly with the idea of sharing her toys for first 10 mins, but then was fine with it.
dinner is on the cook and its fairly tidy in here, i had a quick run round after my friend left and tidied everything back up.
hope all is well

Hi everyone, good afternoon!
I've been traipsing around looking for stuff to use so that I can make a Genie outfit for my little boy. He has a fairy tale party tomorrow so I have to get cracking on that.
How do you make a turban??
Think I have done my morning routine and hotspots have been put out.
Still have to update my piccies on Ebay - just bunged stuff on with titles only, to get the cheap listing price.
Will be attempting another 15 minute declutter of the toy cupboard again and my 'sewing corner' aargh! Piles of fabric and bits of thread all over the shop.

I have a question about the 2 minutes of reminders - is it the Yahoo group we are supposed to be reading? That's what I have been doing.
Better do that later.

I haven't even looked at my babystep for today and am having a panic attack, but suppose I had better check and read the posts on the group then go 'TICK' and 'DONE' for those.

Hello to all. Thanks Jas for saying on another thread that you miss me on this one. I don't like to be on MN much with my au pair here. For one thing, I'd rather she didn't know that I use MN and also (oh what can I say that won't drop me in it if she does find and read my posts?) um, I need for working hours to remain productive and set a good example. She is going home soon so I might be back during the summer hols. We have another one starting at the beginning of the Sept term. I think she'll be a self-starter though. I hope so! So...thanks for asking about me. I hope all is okay with most of you. Sorry to hear about your niece TMH. I hope she gets better soon. Bfn.
