/surveys tip of a house.

Have got tomorrow morning free to get the place looking more reasonable. I fear I maybe be severely lacking motivation. Anyone want to join me for a mutually supportive cleaning session tomorrow am?

Morning!!!

Ok.... didnt get a lot done yesterday - spent most of the day in the garden again!

Did however manage some washing, the washing up and drying up, sweeping of the floors, and hoovering downstairs.

So, to do today is :

Tidy Upstairs
Hoover Upstairs
Clean Bathroom
Clean Toilet
Washing Up (where does it all come from!)
2 loads of washing
Tidy Up Garden From Yesterday!

DD1 at pre-school until 11.30, wonder if i can get a lot of it done by then?! hahahahahha need to get off here first!

toadette · 24/06/2008 09:42

Hi danJARMouse

Have just finished my coffee here and going to drop off ds2 to playgroup until 12noon. I'm hoping to do a manic clean before his pickup so will have to stay clear from PC...

micci25 · 24/06/2008 09:44

ergh!! got loads done yesterday but dont think that today will be so sucessfull! dd1 woke the whole family at 4:30am with sunburn apparently! she doesnt look remotely red or sore!

managed to get both dds back down for an hour since then but dd2 would only sleep on top of me so i didnt benefit much from it!!

not even dressed yet but once i am am going to shop for coffee (ate it all yesterday ) and then will start the washing up.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/06/2008 09:52

morning - am popping in between helping at school and a meeting so tis time for a coffee. Have decided that research will be done on thursday then can combine that with getting more catfood.

Will join you all this afternoon.

will:
water onions
tidy dining room table(!)
write up notes from meeting
cut the hedge (as long as no one parks in front of it)
vacuum upstairs and downstairs
dust downstairs.
make kitchen hygienic.

micci - poor you - how funny that she thought she had sunburn.

Kitchen not lokking tooo bad now, off to do the vacuuming and dusting. Then the bathrooms before picking up ds2.

toadette · 24/06/2008 11:46

Vacuumed downstairs and dusted. Upstairs bathroom has been given a semi-clean, will do properly tomorrow. Laundry mountain looking horrendous and scary, so will do that this afternoon.

Off to pick up ds2 and head to supermarket. Will check back later if anyone about

micci25 · 24/06/2008 11:53

arghh i havent even started yet. but i have managed to get dressed and have been out for redbull! am going to go and do the washing up now and draw the curatins back incase mil walks past and assumes i am still in bed!!!

i really need to find a better way of dealing with dd1s imaginary illnesses!

ready4anothercoffee · 24/06/2008 12:30

Ok, So I got my floors done last night, half the bathroom done while dd1 was in the bath, but nothing done this morning as I got sidetracked by a cuip of coffee (easily done sadly)

Now to feed dc's, get a casserole in the oven then get dd2 out for her jabs for 2pm, The challange is on

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/06/2008 13:19

Right then.
Have been to meeting (thankfully short) - and have cut hedge. Back is sore so decided to use shears as is lighter than trimmer.
neighbour comes out and really oddly I found myself offering to do her side of the hedge
Took two flipping hours to cut it all - aargh. Now I'm seizing up!!! It had better not grow for quite a while!
So am lunching til 2pm then I've got an hour to tidy up.

I'm never going to get the place tidied up am I ? utterly hopeless.

Good luck ready4 on your mission. 40 mins to go!!!

Enjoy your lunch, kitten, 2 hours of gardening!

Well done

Squirdle · 24/06/2008 14:20

Right I am going to list what I need to do in the morning and come back and check if I have done it all....it might work

Tidy playroom
Tidy lounge
Clean kitchen -though will probably make sure most of that is done tonight as I hate coming down to a messy kitchen.
Hoover downstairs
Mop floors
Clean toilets and bathroom
Make beds and tidy bedrooms
Change bedding on our bed
Utility room
Hoover upstairs
Try to make the 3 hours that DS3 is at nursery tomorrow magically turn into 6 hours

I do lots of this stuff every day, but it never stays tidy

Squirdle · 24/06/2008 14:21

Ooh badkitten, I did the hedges on Sunday, it's not easy is it. I am still aching today. I actually didn't sit down on Sunday, but you wouldn't know it now!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/06/2008 15:15

quick post - scuppered again!!! fire down road on nature reserve again. one last week. Went down to check cattle (grazing project observer - volunteer stuff) whilst there fire brigade got another call about one about 400m away from that one
Anyway cattle fine - relevant people contacted and i'm now late for helping with after school club.

/runs in circle like headless chicken until orients self and runs off to school

Wow oybbkitten! What an eventful afternoon. I've done nothing here since lunchtime so house back to previous state of disorder, maybe even worse. Ah well.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/06/2008 19:59

its was rather eventful - arrived at school club all flustered and useless. Didn't finish what I wanted to so am going in tomorrow lunchtime to sort it

toadette - you had a busy morning!! can't work like a nutter all day or you'll implode!

Squirdle -hedges are flipping hard work but I'm a bit sadly anal about having nice hedges.
