Typical dyls!

Bianca I think you'll need a little bit to get your head sorted so don't be too worried about getting stuff done

TheMadHouse · 11/06/2008 16:45

Hello lovlies

Swimming was a big mistake, I wasnt really up for it, but came home, fed them and took DS1 to preschool.

DS2 home for a sleep and me to.

Got DS1 from Preschool and went to the emergency doctors.

I have coldsores everywhere. On my mouth, in my mouth, on my tongue, in my throut, in my nose, so I have been given a suspension to take and told to rest.

Now for the rant. REST - I told my mum that I need bed rest and she said she has helped out the last two days and needs her rest, so can not help.

DH - Too bloody busy at work "Mad we need to pay the bills"

So I have to just cope

EustaciaVye · 11/06/2008 16:50

aw, Dd1 had her first school visit today. My baby is growing up....

Jas · 11/06/2008 17:02

TMH
Do you have friends who could help out at all?

This morning you wanted to come down and help Bianca....now I want to come up and let you go to bed for a proper rest Sorry I can't

EV -But she really is still a baby surely!

EHM · 11/06/2008 17:10

aww TMH i wished I lived closer I would be over for ds's like a shot. Are there no friends, siblings close by?

TheMadHouse · 11/06/2008 17:10

Jas It is hard, My best Friend is one the one who broke her back and both her boys currently have D&V - nice

My other close friend doesnt drive and is 7 weeks pregnant.

My Bro and SIL go on holiday a week today, so need to get the club in order.

My Mum is pants, My MIL is pants too

Most of our closest friends are still down south - it takes time to build them back up. Its kind of like one a year at the moment (we have been back two years.)

BiancaCastafiore · 11/06/2008 17:13

TMH so sorry you're feeling so rotten. I wish we could help in some way..

EV @ dd1 going to school! Will she start in Sept?

I still have the headache despite taking some tablets for it. I can not wait to get to bed tonight.

Nothing much achieved all day really, other than the hypnosis.

EHM · 11/06/2008 17:26

saga you do make me laugh too. my friend & pino don't mix either.galad you had a nice birthday even if you feel shite!
EV dd1 school surely not
scatty good to hear dc's are better.
bianca i hope your headache is gone. I agree with luda dont worry about getting stuff done. You've climbed a mountain today.
dylsmum total nightmare about wm. can they loan you one?
RR i was hoping the book was going to be a fly on the wall tale about the fly thread Maybe called flylady & Fairy Cakesgo impressive list as ever. Good luck with job applications.

Must go rice maybe boiling over.........

EHM · 11/06/2008 17:28

sorry TMH took me so long to type & enter you have already answered questions. As has bianca blush

grouchyoscar · 11/06/2008 17:39

Insulators have been, the eaves look all cosy and toasty warm now

Wrapped DH's fathers' day pressies.
done 1 job app. so 2.5 to complete
Washing to bring in

Ed has his friends round (again)

Suppose I could start on my bedtime routines

TMH Huge hug, I know just where you're coming from. MIL said to me yesterday 'I think you do brilliantly' and my bitter n twisted bad grouchy wanted to shout 'And it's no thanks to you lot is it? but I squashed that back in the trash can. I hope you do get the chance to rest up. No one ever died from dust or mucky undercrackers did they

mummymusings · 11/06/2008 17:56

dds dinner done, dp doesnt want any as hes feeling poorly so a slight and a as i dont have to cook! my nice tidy lounge is currently being trashed by dd making a den, forget the house and tent in the garden, throwing everything around the lounge is MUCH more fun

it sounds like everyone could do with a nice relaxing evening and a good nights sleep! what do you think the chances are?

dylsmum1998 · 11/06/2008 18:03

ehm sadly no its not policy! i wouldnt mind but i've only had the sodding thing 3 months!!

TMH sorry your feeling so bad still

EV how old is your baby?

to do;
wash up
put table awy
tidy
hoover
shower dc
put dc to bed

dd has one of her big nasty back teeth coming through- which explains why she'll be playing happily then all of a sudden run to me with her mouth wide moaning. and the fact she's has eaten barely anything this week have given her some teething powders to try and help

OP posts:
EustaciaVye · 11/06/2008 18:09

Dyls - I have Dd1 who is 4 1/4 and Dd2 who is 18 months.

dylsmum1998 · 11/06/2008 18:18

that explains why i was confused- i thought you had just one dd, who was around my dd's age! wondered why you were sending her to school already i understand now lol

how did she get on?

OP posts:
EustaciaVye · 11/06/2008 19:39

Apprehensive at first but she seemed to enjoy it. She played with a little boy and remembers his name and told Daddy about it so that bodes well.

However, she now has a temp of 39.3 and has gone to bed....
