Monkeybird · 23/04/2008 17:05

doggiesayswoof, yes those are the ones I was looking at with maybe these and these for contrast. There you go, summer cushions.

SheikYerbouti · 23/04/2008 17:55

What sort of green is your mac coddy?

I'll buy it. I feel the need for a green jacket

cocolepew · 23/04/2008 18:03

I have my summer cutains up and my white converse on.
Therefore it is offically summertime.

I went to work without a coat today, but I still wore black tights, so tis not summer yet

SheikYerbouti · 23/04/2008 18:06

Mmm

Am v tempted.

How much?

squeaver · 23/04/2008 18:12

I have friends who live in central London with garden overlooked by trees. Every winter the leaves make the grass go all mulchy so every spring they get a man in to re-lay the lawn. So much easier than clearing the leaves, don't you think

Just thought I'd add that to the debate.

Well I wore my new flip-flops round the house, realised they weren't worn in so wore my ballet pumps to school. I had however rolled up my trousers (they are that sort), and had on grey Primark top and grey 3/4 sleeve cardie and was much too hot. DD however cottoned onto the flipflop idea and insisted on wearing hers so it took ages to get there and back.

harpomarx · 23/04/2008 21:43

this reminds me of being asked by someone i used to work with if i had 'show towels'

'do you mean guest towels?' i ignorantly asked

'no, they are like guest towels but NO ONE is allowed to used them'

eh????

DP ROFL as we had summer and winter curtains and cushions. (winter, brown curtains, brown and orange cushions, summer cream cushions & curtains)

We decorated in Dec, Green curtains and cushions, very beautiful, copied by DD and SIL, AND I didn't strop!

SO DILEMMA!! do I get summer soft furnishings or stay with beautiful winter ones?

I am trying not to buy things for the sake of buying IFYSWIM so think it'll be green in Earthyhome for all seasons. On 2 levels!!

barnstaple · 23/04/2008 21:56

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!

harpomarx · 23/04/2008 21:57

barnstaple

i'm guessing you have no summer cushions then?

Mum2G · 27/04/2008 19:54
