Very keen to get some idea! Mine are currently thrown in a box in a cupboard. I am dreaming of them being organised alphabetically and orderly! 0

@Implosion85, I know!! They do custom made ones, they are absolutely beautiful!!

Is that actually your drawer? If so it's beautiful. I want to stroke those jars Grin

Not yet, but it's the dream when we get round to doing our kitchen. I have a fancy label printer ready 😊

LenaLamont · 22/04/2024 21:06

In jam or olive jars, in a pull-out cupboard. The jars and lids are both labelled so it's easy to see what's where as soon as I open the drawer.

LiterallyOnFire · 22/04/2024 21:01

I think whatever method you choose, @LaWench 's picture is the theory but @NecklessMumster 's is how it ends up. 😁

😀 I feel inspired to tidy them up now! But the best thing is they're only 1 deep so I can find what I want, unlike my old kitchen where they were all in a box

Implosion85 · 22/04/2024 21:07

LaWench · 22/04/2024 20:58

Mine are in small ikea storage boxes in the cupboard.

When we have our kitchen done I want them in a shallow drawer under the hob. I bought rectangular spice containers so they'll sit nicely like this picture.

LOVE this

These are mine, drawer inserts, easiest bit of my kitchen, they do need re alphabetisising (?) though.

This is like mine, but @NecklessMumster s drawer here is a lot neater and cleaner.
The lids keep coming loose and spices tip all over the drawer.
One day I’ll get it all sorted out 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t alphabetisise I put them in groups re type of food. So spices for Italian food, Indian etc go together. The problem comes with cake spices….cinnamon obv for cakes but is also used in Moroccan dishes. Ooo the dilemma!😆. You should have been in the room when I was sorting the bookshelves 😳🤯

Sorry! Only joking. You can find them. So you're winning. I do wish the spice jars were a uniform size, though. The Schwartz ones are too tall and the asda ones are square....

Persipan · 22/04/2024 21:12

Alphabetical, in a fairly bog-standard rack I got on Amazon.

Do you know @LaWench ( as you use ikea) that they do drawers within a drawer in their kitchens. The small depth would be perfect for spices.

BirthdayRainbow · 22/04/2024 21:13

I have a rack in my pantry and they are all in alphabetical order. It has four levels.

AnnaMagnani · 22/04/2024 21:16

Mine are like @Cheeesus the Sainsbury's jars are the right height for a drawer and have the name labelled on top.

Of course I don't live near a Sainsbury's so now I have a random selection of things on their sides from when I have run out.

I have a photo on my phone so if I ever am near Sainsbury's I know what ones I'm missing.

IDontLikePinaColadas · 22/04/2024 21:18

We decanted ours into jars with labels on the top and organised them alphabetically. It was all going well until I got over excited in a spice shop and bought a load of things that don’t fit in the jars….

Why not just refill the old jars up as you like them.

InAMillion · 22/04/2024 21:26

I love the Sainsbury's spice pots they look very snazzy

I think I might get them from there next time I run out

VerasDuckworth · 22/04/2024 21:31

Got my main ones in these stuck to the side of the fridge (didn't buy them from Temu though)

AnnaMagnani · 22/04/2024 21:33

@Kandalama because I forget what I have and end up with 3 different jars of turmeric all in different sizes.

Or a jar of something I didn't buy in Sainsbury's that I only use once in a blue moon so it lingers for years.

Specialnameforanoutingthread · 22/04/2024 21:54

Ours are on the inside of the pantry door.

Mine are in my pull out larder unit. At waist height so can read the jar tops.

This is a thing of beauty! Very envious

Jeezitneverends · 23/04/2024 08:29

I buy larger packs and decant into glass jars, they’re in a drawer in a larder cupboard, I label with a Cricut…need to catch up with some

Caspianberg · 23/04/2024 08:33

Our drawers contain normal
small jar type sizes. But I often still buy large bags of certain ones, I just decant them into small ones for easy daily use and out the larger bag in pantry

Chasingsquirrels · 23/04/2024 08:50

I've got 1 of these (2 pack but 1 is wider than half the cupboard it is in - the other is still in a box in the garage and ds2 has claimed it for when he leaves home).
Contains an assortment of various supermarket brands, they are all labeled on the lid nowadays so easy to see what each one is.

I have an ornate shelf that was possibly originally for displaying plates. It's a bit like the top of a traditional kitchen dresser. It belonged to my grandma and I repurposed it as a spice rack when I got my kitchen redone.
