Morning all

Hello all. Newbie here again. Just checking in - on day 5 of baby steps and all going well. Also feeling strangely inspired to do random acts of cleaning which is a new one for me... Thought I'd say hello again as you seem to be a really friendly group and were all lovely to me the other day when I posted and also helped me to get my email reminders delivered at the right time of day!

hello intravenouscoffee. I remember the urge to do manic tidying when I started Take your time and pop back whenever you like.

On a Fly note I've done bugger all today but I have done lots of jigsaws and puzzles with both DDs. You should see my floor

strongly suspect the urge will be short lived. DH thinks I've turned into a Stepford wife. Doesn't seem to be complaining tho...

My DH started putting things straight into the dishwasher unprompted to keep the sink clean.

Evening all

DS" is going to be OK, his eye has started to heal and although it still shines blue when they pop the yellow drops in and look at it under blue light - it is a lot lot less. We need to keep up the anti'bs and then back in a month for some vision tests, as he was being very unco-operative (he remembered the doctor and ran away). it took me and two nurses and a junior doc to hold him down for the drops and he is only 20 months old.

DS1 is going to my mums tomorrow, so that me and DS2 can have another day together, as he is still really clingy and she offered I think they are going to do jellys and cakes - yum.

Evening all.
Wasn't online yesterday. Had a good day with DC. We watched simpsons movie on Sky box office. Making the most of sky before it goes! Cancelled it to save a few quid. Ends on 27th.

Had an ok day today. having quite lazy days while its half term!

DD's have contact with their Dad tomorrow so i will have 3+ hrs with DS's alone. Can't think of anything to do though!

TMH Glad DS's eye is improving.fingers crossed there is no permanant damage.

Hope everyone else is ok.
Mickey's foot seems ok. DD2's ear is ok now but last night DD1 was crying with ear pain! Been hurting her today too. We all seem to have a cold.

intravenouscoffee Consider yourself invited to my house in mid Wales pronto before the urge wears off. Whoever has already said that, I'm very rudely attempting to elbow my way to the front of the queue!

dame Yes, we've had an au pair now since the end of Dec. She is due to stay until the summer but she knows that we may not need her that long. Having a live-in au pair has its good points and the not so good as well.

I'm strugglign to type because my fingers are really sore with the cold. They crack and bleed. I've had to put cream and bed gloves on. Oh, yes. I have something to confess. @Earlier I decided to get myself a new nickname. So...I changed my name and then tried to post but couldn't remember how exactly I'd written it, so I couldn't log in and post! It feels a bit late in the day, now! I think I'll change it tomorrow as it's too long. I don't know what to, though! I'm well overdue a change.

I have toothache again - I must ring the dentist in the morning. I HATE dentists, plus with all that has been going on with DS2 I havent had time. But I can not do this pain and broken sleep anymore
