Morning everyone

Got a really full day today :

Put up tree
Make somemore decorations (DD not interested so will have fun doing them by myself
Make christmas biscuits
Make veg soup, bought veg on sunday
Christmas party and carol concert at commubity centre.

Will therefore probably not get much FLYing done today.

Our Internet Connection has been down for most of Thursday and all day yesterday....DH and I were going mad!
Pleased to report all is well again [phew]

It is quite mild today and a bit drizzly...I'm pleased about that as I HATE the bitter cold weather we have been having.

I am going to give the house a once over today, in preparation for tuesday.

Bianca do you know where you are going to be over the holiday yet?

Well, had better get on, kids are chirping for more toast!

I'm off to work again today (last shift before Christmas - yay!) but am only going in after I've been to the supermarket...heading out of the door as soon as I finish this post!

Bianca Perfect! We are comming to Coventry but only for a couple of days, as DH needs to be back for work, so I doubt we would have time to come across, time flies so quickly once we get there, as DH has 4 sisters we have to visit, and his mum of course, so we spend all our time whizzing from house to house!

Well I'm making progress this morning...
~Cleaned Piggles out
~Tidied Living room
~Tidied Kitchen
~Unloaded/reloaded D/w
~Wiped and anti bac'd splashback, tiles, toaster, kettle, worktops, cooker top, extractor fan hood thingy, fridge and cupboard doors
~Picked up all dirty clothes and am on 3rd load of washing

Hmm...bit more needed though, upstairs is a sty, and bathroom needs doing and I have about 6 loads of washing to put away

Was busy yesterday so I had no PC Time

So Hello All

Woke up at 4 and thought 'I'll start the thread' but then I though 'While shepherds washed their socks by night' was naff and went back to sleep

Scary looking letter addressed to Ed this morning about when he was knocked down. I was scared that there may be some legal proceedings against us. Seems the driver has been summonds to the magistrates for having no insurance

Going to take it steady today, we're out tonight so the flying can wait til tomorrow

well Dh and DS1 have gone to pick mum up from hospital - she had a check up this am.

we have braves M&S and got a few nice nibbles for over the Christmas break and all the shopping is dowm completed.

Two pressies to wrap, but still not done the ironing - Can you not tell I hate ironing with a vengence.

When DH gets back I may start it.

In the meantime me and DS2 are off to play with the weebles castle

The supermarket wasn't too bad (but then we do that quick-scan thing so we avoided the queues )
Work was OK too, not as frantic as I expected.

Came home from work to PiL visiting and they'd pee-d dh off by virtually telling the kids the truth about Father Christmas Why would they do such a thing?!! It's bad enough that they have to say FC drops presents at their house for dd and ds as well as at our house (because they don't want to miss out Being FC is dh and my job, WE are the parents of these children!!! Sorry, they have really annoyed me today, talking about the kids as if they are theirs and nothing to do with me what-so-ever )

Deep breath, rant over. Feel much better for letting that out

Dh and I are on wrapping present duty this evening, he is just cooking us a fry-up for supper to get us through the task (sod the diet!)

Good Morning Peeps

Bianca what a mare!!! I'd have been absolutely livid! Its hard enough keeping children, children these days, they are growing up far too young as it is! (IYKWIM)

Well I really cannot believe tomorrow is xmas eve!!!!!!
I am just pottering today and doing last tidying etc.

It is DH's xmas party today He has a meal booked for 1pm, then a buffet at 8pm!!! So conveniently he is on the lash ALL DAY!!!! It is all men, so what else can you expect!
Couldn't possibly just have a normal xmas party could they!
(He had better be functional tomorrow that's all I can say )

Anyway, better get on...

Oh and simply and bianca that sounds great, we'll have to get something organised...

Morning all

I'm just getting ready for my open house day todaya.
I wrote out all the treasure hunt clues last night, and the table is ready. I need o get the food out later, set out drinks and hoover the whole house, but firs I must shower
The dds room is a mess (despite being tidied almost every day recently...dd2 insists on playing in it!

We are going to a nativity service at my friends church today. The dds ask regularly to go to church, and I'm an athiest, so I gess this is a good compromise.

Morning Jas Enjoy your day (sounds busy!) I am an Atheist also...my dc have never taken an interest in church, but I think if they did, I too would compromise

I have tidied round, but the kids are in hyper mode this morning! bricks and toys everywhere!

Have cleaned the fish tank, so they are all clean for xmas
I hate doing it, it is soooo faffy, and changing half the water takes for ever, but it looks lovely again once it is done.

I am going to do the toilets and bathroom as I haven't got round to doing them yet
I'll get everywhere done and then I'm officially on strike
I'm going to sit back, crack open the choccies, pour a small Baileys, and watch tv this evening...will have the house to myself as DH is on his work jolly....

I am now only just beginning to feel xmassy, so I don't want to be doing the house, as that will quench the xmassyness!

YUCK...my hands smell of fish tank water...

The kids and I have been to church We don't go every week but try to get there at least once a month. I was brought up as a church go-er so have always taken the kids on a semi-regular basis. Dh doesn't come as it's not his thing at all.

We have friends coming this afternoon so I got up early and did some baking with dd so we have some food to offer.

Right, off to send dh and the kids out delievering local Christmas cards while I run the hoover round and get the place visitor-ready
