I was going to post the very same topic this week - I rarely leave the house without some recycling, or a bag for the charity shop, yet house is overloaded, and we dont shop much I get up at 6.00 everyday, and straighten up first thing, and we go out a lot, yet generally we are in a mess.

nutcracker · 08/12/2007 13:59

My boots, ds's shoes, phone, camera bag, xmas lights box, slippers, 2 balloons, carrier bags, boxes for ds's toys, toy henry, fifi cottage, various bits of paper and hair elastics.

You don't have anything too tidy!
I daren't show a pic of the kitchen!
Or DD2's bed where i have piled the clothes which need putting away. And if i don't do them they will end up on the floor later!

camillathechicken · 08/12/2007 14:01

I don't have an ironing basket. I melted the iron on the cooker ring and haven't replaced it yet.

I will go do a bit too.

camillathechicken · 08/12/2007 14:03

don;t worry, it is the first time i can remember it happening, and i have a wash on at the mo, so it will be filling up

yesterday MIL took DD out for a bit whilst DS was at school so i could have some time to myself as i was poorly, so ironed. somehow i feel cheated ...

Well done.
How long will it stay looking good though

awayinNaeManger · 08/12/2007 14:45

i'm just so tired to tidying everything, leaving the room to go tackle something else then coming back to the same mess I'd just cleaned! drives me BONKERS!

ATortIsForLifeNotJustChristmas · 08/12/2007 15:25

Put some of the washing away! All of DD1 and DD2s.
DS1 and Dsw2 can help with theirs tomorrow. Then its just my few bits to put away.

I really should do the kitchen next!

nutcracker · 08/12/2007 15:43

I have done a bit, living room is now alot tidier. Have stuck the xmas cards up and done the garland thingy for the fireplace.

Was going to vacuum but ds wanted to do it with his toy Henry and got rather annoyed when i suggested that it wasn't real so wouldn't work, so I let him get on with it
