A pyrex single casserole dish with lid. Just sent DD off to uni with it. Passed on to us by DH's mum when we got our first house, and DH remembers it being in his home when he was young, so 50 years old?

Just reading back - Pyrex seems to be a theme Grin.

If we're only talking about household things, I've had my Circulon frying pan since 2001 and the coating on the inside is still good as new although the coating on the base has worn off from the dishwasher. 20 years for a non stick frying pan is pretty decent I think.

I bought a stainless steel soap dish when I moved into my first house share in London in 2004 and still have it, I'm weirdly attached to it. I don't really have household things older than that (apart from the pan) as I moved over with only a suitcase of clothes.

Some very delicate wine glasses which were a gift to my MIL when she held her first dinner party for her Husband's boss. They're probably about 60 years old.

An Ercol dining table and chairs, bought second hand and came from a family who bought it new in the 50s.

Actually, I have a cut glass bowl which belonged to my DH great grandmother. That must be over 100 years old.

I've had my beautiful kitchenaid stand mixer for 19 years and it's still going strong. My kitchen bin is Brabantia and that's about 15 years old. Proper solid construction that lasts!

I have a knife that belonged to my ex partners grandad who was a chef on the QE2. I've had it 41 years and he used it professionally until his retirement in the 1960s so it's at least 70 years old. I also have the heated rollers same ex gave me for my 21st and I'm 60 now. Both still work perfectly.

I still wear the pyjamas DH bought me when I was in hospital having DC1 who is now 30 and I have a beautiful Berkertex cocktail dress I bought long before DC was born.

More Pyrex! Bought when I moved in about 18 years ago.
