Haven't got very far with the Ironing ....the water heater isn't working AGAIN!!!! This is the 4th time!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I have had to drive 12 miles to get coal to light a fire so we can have baths

Never mind... I guess we are lucky to have the fire as a back up.

Well, off to help DD1 with her homework...

TheMadHouse · 11/11/2007 16:14

luda arggggggggggg we had a coal fired central heating and water in our last house. God I hated it when the imersion went off. Thank god for boliers.
Ruby sangrea - you are old enough to know better

We are having a lovley day. all the boys are snuggled up watching toy story 2 and the pizza dough is in the machine. All the topping is prepped.

we had a walk in the hailstones and then home for roast chicken and then the boys had a nap and I read the sunday papers (first time in 2 years) and then I had a bath in which they joined me when they woke up.

So we will be having a snuggle in front of stricktly tonight

Grouchyoscar · 11/11/2007 17:57

Sounds lovely at the THM house

I've done the ironing and laid Ed's uniform out for morning. I've also tidied his bedroom and...

It's official

Ed has way to many books. They are everywhere. He has too many toys too, he's amazingly spoilt for a family on a tight budget

But his room is a little more organised now and he can sit at his table with his phonics books now.

I think I've had a good , productive weekend TBH. The house is cleaner, things are organised. Thanks for all your support. I am getting there, honest.

Tea is roasting, I think I've done for the weekend. See you all tomorrow xx

Speak to you through the week go

Back from committee meeting. Not overly pleasant - had to vote to boot someone off the committee. Not nice but it had to be done.

Got to do a couple of loads of washing as have been out all day and need to sort out my stuff for morning. Apart from that, going to watch tv and chill.

If I don't manage to pop back again before Wednesday, have a nice week everyone

SlightlyMadStuffing · 11/11/2007 19:18

Havn't read thread since last night. Will catch up after tea,

DD3 seems much better now after a rocky 24hrs. Very up and down. She developed a slight wheeze before bed but I didn't have the heart to drag her to walk-in at bedtime so just had an anxious night and kept checking her. so v tired.

She had a v high temp first thing so I wanted to take her - but DP thought I was over-reacting. Her temp came down v v quickly though so it may have been partly bedcover induced and we went out anyway (figured that 3hrs in the car resting - as opposed to running around getting breathless- wasn't going to do her any harm).

And yes - although she is swinging from playful (and mischevious ) to needing cuddles - she is not too bad in herself.
In fact I have just been stood in front of telly watching coming dancing doing the Jitterbug with her - she is only 18m bless her but copies DTDs.

Anyway thankyou all for keeping me sane over the last few days.

Hello
I have had a busy afternoon sorting the whole of ds's room! Its looking much better now.
Poor DD1 seems to have DD2's temp now. DD2 is ok now luckily!

I was a bit naughty this morning! I quickly cycled into town with ds2 leaving DD1 and DD2 home with DS1(10). I was only about 20 mins though so i think it was ok. What do you all think? Bad or ok?

Hope everyone has had a good Sunday.

TheMadHouse · 11/11/2007 20:29

Evening all

SMS Glad that thins are OK with DD3 and hope that she and you have a more settled night.

Children are sent to try us I think. We were sitting eating our home made pizza when DS2 started to go red and cough, I thought that it might have been too hot - oh no he was choking. So we had to tap him on the back real hard and finally laid him over my knee and patted again and up came a pice of chicken and a load of mucus. Thank god he is OK and that I did that peadiatric (sp) first aid cource.

So I am going to have a cuppa and watch rest of top gear and long way down and then off to bed for me.

Washer is on
Slow cooker is on (sausage casarole for lunch)
Dishwasher is stacked ready to go on
Only rhe boys clothes to get ready

Catch everyone tomorrow
