Morning Ladies

I shall be carrying on with the big long detailed kitchen list today.

I have now developed insomnia [sigh] Why does there ALWAYS have to be SOMETHING wrong with me!? Woke about 2.30am and then couldn't sleep for the life of me! I was still awake when DD2 woke at about 5.30am, she climbed in with us and fell asleep again...I was then squashed and ended up getting up anyway. That is half the night I've been awake...and I actually feel ok rather strangely

Off to have words with my Ds's nursery leader this morning...he's not happy again.
She keeps making him sing and dance and he is soooo upset about it all

I sometimes get the dreaded looking at the clock watching it roll around too.. horrible .. especially as DH can fall asleep literally in a second (he's one of those weirdies that can fall asleep standing up on the tube

Hopefully a busy day for me as although dc's are still off (48 hr rule) they're all fine and have promised to help me as

Very pleased cleaned out fridge on Monday, along with cleaning top of fridge.
I am aching this morning finally managed to hire rug doctor carpet cleaner with stair attachment yesterday evening. So I spent last night cleaning the 3 bedroom carpets & the landing carpet. The water was soooo dirty...shamefull Tonight I'll do the stairs & the chairs from the dining table. IT only cost £38 for 48 hours including carpet cleaner fluid.

Thanks for the thread Luda that you didn't sleep well, hope you can rest up today - I go through phases of waking at 3am and not getting back to sleep. Would have sleep well last night though if it wasn't for ds who came into my bed at 2ish and coughed and wriggled his way through the rest of the night He's a poorly chappie this morning so will be having the morning off school.
Hope it goes OK at nursery for ds.

I am back from dropping DS off. I left him sobbing his heart out but I've been reassured he won't have to do singing and dancing if he doesn't want to. They have an outside leader in today, who it appears is also of the mind set they should ALL be participating...so I have made a special request that she is made aware of the situation, and that he is upset and now has an issue with it all, and doesn't have to join in if he really doesn't want to
I am really thinking about keeping him at home. He only has a few months left there and I spoke to his teacher-to-be (also DD1's teacher)last night, who has reassured me he won't be forced to do anything at school when he goes up in Jan (phew!) She seemed to think she might try a bit of bribary...maybe stickers or somthing to try to get him to join in...but she did say it isn't the end of the world if he still refuses, and that in her experience, they usually come round in the end if they are left to do it in their own time. (very pleased to know he will be in safe hands at school anyway)

I actually now feel like I've been hit by a train!
I must look awful, as at least 3 people have commented this morning (I have huge bags at the best of times...today I look like there are sleeping bags rolled up under my eyes!)

We are running late this morning (DS1 actually slept till 7.30) Yipee it seems that I was right re the medication long may this continue. I have my angel back.

We are off swimming this morning and then I will attack the fridge. I also must chop some veg for tonights chicken broth - yum.

I also then have the weeks menu planning to do and the shopping list for my weekley shop tomorrow.

Yadda I found loads of washing when we got our machine it was on for a whole week non stop - although it still is somethimes.

Luda I feel for you re the sleep - I always suffer in the early evening from lack of sleep.

This morning I did all the usual routines, stripped Ed's bed off loaded and rum WM then I went downtown to explore Woolies for leappad stuff

Oh yeah, Yesterday it turns out Ed doesn't have a leappad so it was a panic purchase from eBay. Ah well, nevermind huh.

Bit of a grim afternoon ahead. Ed has to have a tooth out. The dentist is hoping to extract it at the surgery rather than hospital and anesthetic. DH has taken the afternoon off and...we'll get through it. Trip to the Toy shop after I think

oooh all the best at the dentist GO We all had check ups last week. All ok thank goodness except the girls needed stuff painted on... apparently keeps the new molars healthy and strong or something.

Well have practically finished list. Just got a bit of filing to do but going to do shopping list first and have a cuppa and sandwich before collecting dd1 from horseriding.
