Bought him on Sunday, opened him on Monday. He's been working ever since! I have never felt such passion for a gadget before. I love him. I've yet to name him. He was a whizz in the bedroom today!!
My only criticism is that he doesn't do stairs, and could do with something in top of him to do the tops of skirting boards, but other than that, our floors have never been cleaner!!

So mine has arrived! Can you help
Me with some questions please?

  • do you shut him in a room and let him out when it's finished? Otherwise presumably he could ramble around the house in a random way and not cover the whole area?
  • do you leave the charger in one place and if so if you've had to lift him to a different room because if a single stair, how would he get 'home'?
Mines connected to WiFi etc but how do I 'programme' him to 'do the whole house' as some of you have mentioned? I'm assuming I have to lift him from room to room...

@marly11 I do have the charger in just one place (although you could easily move it eg if you wanted to focus on upstairs).

I have a step from my living room to kitchen so yes, I have to lift him from room to room, and if he runs out of charge and can't get home he will just bimble about and then stop, so you can move him when you are ready.

I do sometimes shut him in a room for 10 mins if I want to make sure he does it properly. I don't know about the programmable aspects, I haven't used that so far. Do you have the app on your phone? That's probably how you program him.

Mine's called Gufy :) His predecessor Henry is now retired in airing closet! I also have mop robot iRobot Braava Jet 240. I love these gadgets!!! And yes, I'm lazy!

All I need now is Moley robot chef (out of my price range) and another robot to do the dusting Grin

@ponygirlcurtis thank you. How sad am I...but I've had such fun today with this. And I'm horrified at rooms that I thought were clean, absolutely filling the dust bucket. Just grim. My rugs look so different! And it's clearly sucking loads of dust from 'between' the floorboards. I'm converted!
