What disturbs me is the descrepancy between Califrau's post of 1.24 in which she warns that the turd may "jump up and and bite you" .. and Mears post directly above in which she advices that it be mandhandled as turds "don't bite"!

I'd persoanlly go with what Mears said.. she is a midwife.. she has probably seen a LOT of huge dumps.. and coming in her direction!
