God I am getting later and later at posting and getting online, suppose it is the weekend.

Today I have been mostly at the Thomas experiance - a fab day out at the NYMR. The boys have been covered in ash from the steam trains, but it has been a great day.

Managed to do:

Morning routine with the make the beds added.
A load in the washer and another one to go in now - will hang out in the morning.

I am a bit AWOL at the weekends, as we try to have family time.

welcome all new FLYbabies. I am finding the baby steps really helping me in keeping on top of things. The clutter is still there, although I am trying and managed to sell 8 out of 15 items on ebay today (I was an ebay virgin). So am going to 15 declutter and e-bay weekly and then boot sale what is left.

accessorizewithbabysick I am treating a declutter as a 5-15min experience, which includes throwing away (well sometimes . A hotspot is 2 mins and usually involves putting something back in its home. Usually is in a place that has previously been decluttered to keep the clutter from re-appearing.

Today I have done my routines (I should post them to get them straight in my head). I have to admit that my evening routine is much stronger than my morning one as I usually crawl out of bed and into the car.

In addition to the usual stuff I have cleaned the kitchen window inside and out - I can see what DTDs are up to in the conservatory now . DP did the outside of the lounge windows this morning. I want to do the upstairs windows over the rest of the week so I shall be doing them as my hotspots over hte course of the week.

themadhouse ooh, wish we'd gone to Thomas (we're only an hour away) but couldn't make it this year. Next year ds2 will be 18 months and they'll both love it! Impressed with the ebaying, so nice to get rid of stuff AND make money! I sold 2 things last week, need to try harder as 2 director's chairs full of stuff in the dining room. But have just put bag of charity stuff out for the morning as I went through all ds2's outgrown stuff on the weekend.

thanks for clarification on hotspot/declutter. I think I'm doing that bit then at least!

Okay, I did my sink and I think what would be a hotspot. Have been slowly getting my act somewhat together to start ebaying but no listings as yet One load of wash then I took ds1 and 2 to a Thomas thing here and then to a birthday party afterwards (I totally forgot about the birthday party when buying the tickets last week, sigh)

Now I've gotten ds2 in bed and am having a G&T...

Jas....come on this is 2 days in a row...your standards are slipping

Forgive me if this goes wrong...but I figure I should stop moaning and do something about this...
