slatterns post Xmas cleaning lists and cleaning into 2019

Ages ago there used to be a slatterns housework motivation thread with some good chit-chat along the way. I can't seem to find where it is now? If there is one point me in the direction of where you are all posting now, if not then pull up a pew write your housework to do list, have a bit of a chit-chat and attempt to get some chores done

OK my list today is

Make beds done
Washington dishes done
Laundry first load on line 2nd load in
Take down Xmas decorations
Hoover downstairs
Clean bathroom
Declutter toys

The priority is take down Xmas decorations without fail. Xmas is old news for me now.

Okay so I think I done everything on my list!

The only things I didn't manage were the utility and kitchen cupboards. I was making a start then had a bad pain flare up definitely not due to moving a couch on my own so I had to give up.

Now having a bath to try and soak my back and hip!

Thanks merrier, yes the gingerbread looked a bit funny but was a huge hit. Want to empty a bookshelf full of old books and junk this morning, feeling motivated to get rid of the rubbish!

And that the first school run of the year negotiated....He was really excited to back and see his friends bless him. I loved having him home but by the end of last week I was admittably counting down the days for him to go back to school

bleach loos
laundry
hoovering
sort out recycling cupboard
make tea
wash up tea
wipe over kitchen tops
general tidy up

I actually didn't have much to do today for once.

Just the general tidy of mess accumulated throughout the day and one load of washing.
Have got all the windows open to air the house.
Sorted out the Laundry room again (why is washing never ending?!) and am now sat down drawing up a 'chore' list to ensure I never ever get this far behind again.

Also need to write a list of cleaning supplies I need; I'm almost out after the last few days!
