KonMari coming to Netflix?

SpikyHedgehogg · 27/12/2018 22:01

I can’t find confirmation that this will be coming to UK Netflix, but it seems to be.

I think that my 2019 could do with a bit of a return to Kondoing!

I love clearing out. This programme sounds amazing.

This sounds like something I need to watch! But I don't have netflix! Anyone know if it will be available to watch elsewhere?

Bananalanacake · 01/01/2019 15:08

Is it available on Netflix in Germany? I've just watched Consumed and really enjoyed it. I am amazed at the people who leave clothes all over the floor.

Malteasermover · 01/01/2019 15:26

I’m watching it right now! God I feel for the couple, the kids noise / clammering really resonates with me!

PawneeParksDept · 01/01/2019 15:28

Started a thread on this in telly, didn't know this was here

Malteasermover · 01/01/2019 15:28

Oh! They just thanked the house - it made me cry

I love my house (I’ve lived here since I was 2 and I’m 38 now!) and may have to move this year :(

Rememory · 01/01/2019 15:38

Thank you for posting this. Watching now!

SpikyHedgehogg · 01/01/2019 16:12

Finished episode 1 and now pulling everything out of my wardrobe

I love Marie's personality and manner. So calm and mindful. I also like the human side of the programme and how the individuals are shown, even the children's. I also like how the programme is edited in to "lessons".

Sorry. I just really enjoyed episode 1.

"even the children's characters come across".

Well that answered my question. Tonight I went into my Netflix and it was there on the screen. Maybe as I watched Consumed. Thanks for drawing my attention to it everyone.

Annasgirl · 01/01/2019 23:23

Whew agree couple no1 still has waay yltoo much stuff. I can’t believe he was still using the kids playroom to store his clothes!!! And the Tupperware in the kitchen - for two toddlers.

But I did put my food cupboard on the back of this episode. My God, I’ll be exhausted by the end of the series 😂😂😂

Annasgirl · 01/01/2019 23:24

I meant I cleaned out!

AHobbyaweek · 01/01/2019 23:51

Watching it now! Thank you for posting.
Yes she is breastfeeding the girl.
The stress from the kids chaos is making me a little stressed.

MayFayner · 02/01/2019 01:18

I’m watching! On episode 2 now.

Going against the grain I didn’t think the first couple’s house was too bad! Blush At least their living area was somewhat ok. Fair enough the kitchen wasn’t great. And I feel that if I had a garage like theirs then I would have no clutter whatsoever in the house, as I would rotate clothes and toys and store extra stuff out there. My two youngest are the same ages as this couple’s DC too, so I’m probably immune to a lot of the chaos.

The second couple are stressing me out massively though! The clothes... the Christmas stuff... I can’t cope!

goingonabearhunt1 · 02/01/2019 02:23

Just watched the first two episodes. The second couple's Christmas stash gave me palpitations Shock

AHobbyaweek · 02/01/2019 10:58

I agree that my house is more cluttered than the first couple in terms of stuff around the house (not clothes though). When she first went in I thought it was the after.

AHobbyaweek · 02/01/2019 11:22

I really want Marie's skirts though.

Xmasfairy86 · 02/01/2019 11:26

I need this in my life.

I agree with you halloumi, it stresses me out yet I do nothing to counteract my stress. Just gets me down massively.

I have too much stuff is my problem 😂🙈

scrawnybutscrumptious · 02/01/2019 11:58

I watched a few of these last night. I cried all the way through the one where the lady was clearing away her husband's things. It was very touching.

I'm inspired to declutter everything in my home. I feel if I do so, my mind will be less cluttered. My clothes pile will be shocking. The problem is fluctuating weight and differently sized clothes.

Annasgirl · 02/01/2019 15:02

I did the full Marie Kondo on my house 3 years ago and it changed my life. Not sure how but I embraced living with less at the same time. I ended up going back to college to change career and I think it all started with the big clear out. It takes a couple of months though and I’m still not free of all the sentimental stuff as my DM has just died so I couldn’t face it.

robinwasntred · 02/01/2019 15:14

@Dummyfairy55 I think it's only on Netflix but they do a free month's trial if you sign up - just have to remember to cancel before they take the first payment.

dummyfairy55 · 02/01/2019 15:47

Thanks Robinwasntred, I may have to do that!

SpikyHedgehogg · 02/01/2019 17:38

Be gentle with yourself Annas Flowers

My theme for this month is “Making space” because I’m going part time from this week and giving myself a month before I start to think about how to use the new time. Kondo-OMG is really helping already.

If anyone knows where I can get a shoe rack like Marie's in the Mario episode - please let me know
