HELP! Bathroom Makeover - What do I need?

Bathroom floor currently carpet. Not keen on carpet in bathroom! Floor boards underneath look in oK condition. What do I need to do in order to stain/paint floorboards

ALSO

Bath sealant minging. Whats the best way to get the old stuff off and new on??

AND...

Need new shower curtain rail, anyone know of any easy to put up ones?

bathroom sealant and i'm sure you can get extendable shower rails which just stay up by the pressure. the screw wider if that makes sense. argos probably do them.

I wouldn't bother with the floorboards in a bathroom - you'd have to sand by hand to get in the corners, several times, would be out of bounds a lot while drying, gaps need to be filled properly - just too much hassle and would be unhygienic if you didn't do it properly.
Can't go wrong with black and white tile effect lino in a bathroom - you can probably find an offcut big enough.
