Central heating - set to Off but some radiators still warm !

Switched off our CH for the summer on Friday but some of the radiators are still warming up. Have turned them down with the individual thermostats now . Is this just a by product of the water heating or is the system not working properly. Typically, only had it serviced last week (before turning it to off ) and don't want the hassle of having to get the man back if it is a simple answer !

Have you got a combi boiler, by chance. Our last radiator in the chain is always a bit warm, even with the heating off. Something to do with distribution of hot water, our plumber reckons it's nothing to worry about. I'm not an expert tho'

You might have one or two (depending on size of house/boiler, etc) that get warm all the time - think its called a 'heat sync' or something - some sort of 'release for the boiler.
