biro on my nice white top. anyone have a magic tip on it's removal?

Apparently, if you spray with hairspray before washing, it lifts it out. Never tried it though, so don't know if it works... Otherwise there is a Stain Devil for biro, I am sure. They are very good!

was just hoping someone would give me a magic recipe, like wine and bi-carb or something equally weird and wonderful....

I know you mustn't put water on it first, but I don't know why?

Think that methylated spirit is supposed to work (not sure how I know that!)

There's a fantastic stain removal thing that you use before putting in the machine - works every time, even at low temperatures. I've used it on so many different types of pen and think it's brilliant. It's called Stain Solve - it's a little bottle about 4 inches tall and they have it in Waitrose.

ah perfect, thanks! I managed to spray blueberry juice all over the ink stain too.

I should really start to avoid white clothing.
