Where do you hang your tea towels?

Just got a new kitchen and realised I have no where to hang tea towels! In the old kitchen we had this really annoying rail on a door frame about head height that I hated and thought looked stupid, but now I feel lost without it!

I'm hanging them presently on the handle of my lovely new range cooker, but they are hiding its loveliness and I want to admire it Grin

What do use to hang yours on? Has there been any amazing developments in tea towel hanging equipment I might have missed? I'll be extra grateful if you post a photo!

Another one who keeps them in the drawer, uses them once then chucks them straight in the washing machine.

Try again, this time without identifying Facebook link!!
You could get a towel like this, as it hangs in a smaller space and stays put as it is buttoned on.
I've considered making tea towels that hand like this too.
At out last house we has a kitchen unit where a small metal bar could be fitted on the end, to hand tea towels.

A springloaded curtain rod across the top of the cupboard under the sink.
Teatowels, spraygun detergents and rubber gloves all hang off it. Out of sight but easy to access.

Like this. Not good for soaking wet teatowels but I only use them for water stains on cutlery so no problems.

Linspins that's cute!

Oliversmummy, what do you use for drying your hands in the kitchen and mopping up spills etc?

Sgtmajor, I LOVE that idea but sadly don't have the space. I desperately wanted a bin drawer under the sink. I think the radiator is my best option, or a hook on the side of the unit (behind the door).

I've just remembered, MIL bought me some lovely Cath Kidston tea towels for Xmas (it sounds like a shit 'wife' present but I loved them as I had asked for oven gloves and she bought matching ones!) I haven't used them yet but maybe I should. I wouldn't mind leaving them on the oven!

Thanks for sharing everyone!

Could you put a nice rail or hooks above your radiator?

Oliversmumsarmy · 09/06/2017 00:11

Kitchen towel. Far cleaner

Oliversmumsarmy · 09/06/2017 00:12

I also don't own a microwave, iron. Ironing board and only just bought a hoover

An Ikea hook rail (without hooks) on a suitable cupboard end. Cheap and cheerful.
