Welcome one and all

I know all about flylady, think she is fab but at the moment feeling too emotionally crippled to cope with the emails, wearing shoes, the huge long threads, the pressure of doing it right.......

so no links to her please

I will get there at some point but for now

For whatever reason that you cry about your house or are scared to start cause there is tooo much to do.

Let s just whinge and try and do a little thing a day if we can

morning to all

morning mellow
just taken some paracetamol, wasn't going to bother as they haven't help before but the midwife said give it a go anyway, She coming to see me in an hour or so.

dc's are ok, dd2 is still being a little terror, she has already managed to openn a closed box of cereal and spread it all over the kitchen floor whilst I was in the loo and then got hold of a felt tip and ate the end ofg it off, so now she has a bright orange mouth and we have a knackered felt tip

at least it wasn't the purplr one, dd1 would have been devastated lol

TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 11:20

hey purple, haven't really been able to muster any energy to get off mn and do something constructive

I think I will try to put some washing away the next time I have to go to the loo, at least it's something

Never mind only 9 hours until bedtime

How old are your dc trinity?

TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 11:23

6 yrs
21 months

they are currently fighting over the cat puppet that dd1 got in her 'story sack' from school

OP posts:
ItsMeMellowma · 21/01/2007 11:26

lol we get those story bags too. I used to hid DS1 when he brought it home otherwise dS2 would wreck it ...

Fun fun fun!!!

ItsMeMellowma · 21/01/2007 11:27

....The thing is the story sacks we got sent home, there would be a story book about car and buses and then they would send you a, hamster puppet in and ask you to incorporate it into a story!! WTF is THAT all about!!!

TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 11:37

rofl, I'm soooo glad I'm not the only one who has trouble with them

dd1 brought it home on tuesday but it's been on a high shelf until now lol
can't cope with the fighting and the fact that 'little demon child' AKA dd2 might break something

For some reason mine would be a bit more melodromatic, the hamster would get hit by the bus.

My poor dc

Well thats me cleaned all floors (again) [sigh] done 2 washes, tidied out dog cage again as she (dog) ripped open a wet nappy and threw it all over cage/kitchen

Have sent dh to get ds2 some wellies as he keeps jumping in puddle at ds1 scholl and I find it very embarrassing having everyone look.... so gonna get him wellies

Just got HUGE pile of ironing to do and a turkey to cook but its still frozen so I am bit about us having that for dinner today....

UCM · 21/01/2007 15:28

I mustn't go into labour today until 10pm, because we have lamb chops for dinner and a bottle of cote du rhone plus Trial & Retribution is on tonight.

My little spurt today will be to help load dishwasher.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/01/2007 15:58

DH has been a star today. (despite a foul mood!)
he's done the dishes, done laundry, cleaned the tub.
and all while i sat of my backside...yeah right! i was chasing after a hyper DS!

TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 19:22

well goodness me, I have just had a HUGE burst (well, huge for me at the mo anyway)

I picked up all dd2's toys and tidied them in the frontroom, dd1 helped me pick up all her toys and take them into her room then I hoovered the front room/dining room

feels really nice in here now.

has everyone found a better club to be in?

OP posts:
purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/01/2007 21:16

Hi Trinity,

hope you are feeling better. ON the weekends i tend not to be on MN so much (i can't let DH know how much I'm USUALLY on during the week!!)
So back to some normalcy tomorrow!!
kitchen is still tidy here. DS is in bed. and i'm about to join him.
This whole night-weaning thing is taking it's toll. I'm knackered!

TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 21:19

hi purple, I'm headin up to bed very soon too

Will be nice to come down a to a hoovered and tidy living room, hopefully I will feel positive tomorrow, my headache has eased a little.

night night all

nwgreenmum · 21/01/2007 21:22

I haven't found another club!!!!!!! - I've been away for the weekend and am now trying to catch up.

nwgreenmum · 21/01/2007 23:51

So I said to DH " If we both went and cleaned the kitchen for 15 minutes together it would be so much nicer"... And he did . My kitchen is now bearable (soooo I won't come down in the morning and hang my head and sigh) and he just joined the TR club and didn't know it
Off to bed now.

Jelley · 22/01/2007 07:33

Morning,

I did nothing all weekend but am feeling better today, so I'm aiming for huge bursts of actually doing somethng.

I will come back and check no one had a baby over night, but keep my housework talk to the FLY thread today. Take care and don't work too hard.

Glad you are feeling better today Jelley. Hope you head is a bit better today trinity. Off to chase DSS to get ready, again.

NO idea what housework I shall be doing, will let you know as the day goes on.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 22/01/2007 09:18

Morning Everyone!

Well, I woke up to a tidy kitchen which always makes the day brighter!
So far today I have fed the boy and myself and cleaned up seom dog sick. Don't you just love waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of a dog heaving?!
We have our music class today so I won't be around too much till later this afternoon.

Trinity - how are you feeling? Head ache gone?

Cadmum · 22/01/2007 09:28

Fly makes me feel ... I just cannot manage most days with 4 little people and dh working long hours. I feel lucky to be able to find the floor most days.

Thanks for starting this thread Trinity.

I am printing off some math work sheets for DS2 (nearly 5) and then I will be off to tidy the living room. The Christmas tree used to be in there and the furniture needs to be moved back to its proper configuration and the floor really needs hoovering... Wish me luck.

Purplemonkeydishwasher: We also woke to a tidy kitchen but not to the sound of a dog heaving... Not of that part!

UCM · 22/01/2007 10:00

Oooooh DH did the dishes from yesterdays dinner as I couldn't be arsed, so I don't have any washing up at all to do.

Errrm, choices, shall I clean craft room kitchen or dining room............? I can only start with one.

belgo · 22/01/2007 10:06

Morning all,

Don't think I'm going to get much done today, had a sleepless night thanks to chicken pox - my dd(16 months) has it in her mouth, and ears, and hair, and loads of spots on her bottom, and she barely slept at all.

ItsMeMellowma · 22/01/2007 10:10

I am just doing very gently tidying today, but its too cold to sit still for long...

I am off to find some recipie for this turkey which has finally defrosted, then I need to go and check my shopping list and make a few changes and order before 2pm so I can get delivery tomorrow.

Ds is sitting crumbling a biscuit between his fingers too so another mess there

Cup of Tea before I start methinks....

TRINITY are you okay??
