Welcome one and all

I know all about flylady, think she is fab but at the moment feeling too emotionally crippled to cope with the emails, wearing shoes, the huge long threads, the pressure of doing it right.......

so no links to her please

I will get there at some point but for now

For whatever reason that you cry about your house or are scared to start cause there is tooo much to do.

Let s just whinge and try and do a little thing a day if we can

morning to all

belgo · 20/01/2007 11:43

Both my girls are fast asleep, and what am I doing? Drinking coffee, surfing the net, and eating cake, whilst a pile of wet nappies are still waiting to be hung out to dry.

TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 11:43

hmmm, would love to but I have no clean things to cook tea in and the washing has to be kept going

also if I lie on the couch I get jumped on by dd2 or at least have things thrown at me, she is reallt testing my patience at the mo, I asked dh this morning if he would mind if I sold her on ebay with a buy it now price of a carrot

belgo · 20/01/2007 11:43

Mellowma - you're making me feel lazy.

belgo · 20/01/2007 11:46

Well I tempted fate, the girls are awake now, have to go.

ItsMeMellowma · 20/01/2007 11:55

I must have trained the DS' well.

My father phoned up to say they had arrived home from england okay and ds answered the phone, the first thing ds said was "I wanna come your house and play cars and train set, grandad"

So grandad is coming up later to take them for a while

TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 12:19

nice one mellow

well I have put the dishwasher on but I will need to put it on again when it's finished

dryer is on and I feel like shit

UCM · 20/01/2007 12:51

I had an hours spurt, tidied & dusted bedroom, changed bedding, hoovered and even spot vanished little stains on carpet. Preen.

DH tackled DS room. I went in there and found what looked like tea on the wardrobe and gave him an incredibly long patronising lecture about how things can be tidy but not clean. God I feel good now Got him back for the onion gravy and the stuff under the sofa Ha.

UCM · 20/01/2007 12:52

So now the m/w can go in the bedroom but not the bathroom, haven't go around to that yet.

UCM · 20/01/2007 15:53

Ok Trin, the midwife can now eat 'placenta pate on toast' off the bathroom floor.

You sure got me at it today. For that I thank you. I am sure that if I continue and get the whole place done, the baby will come.

TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 16:39

Wow well done UCM

I don't think me MW could eat anywhere in my house
BUT

MIL has just left, she came over and watched the kids whilst I had a shower and I feel much better, the tea is in the oven and I look half decent

OP posts:
UCM · 20/01/2007 17:09

Well thats a good start, errrm I hadn't actually thought about tea Ds is probably starving

How can you forget to do your childs tea!!!!!

I am convinced that the reason I am not in labour is because I was worried abuot the house though. I have just started a thread called feel your own cervix which is fascinating.

TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 17:30

ooh where, I want to see that thread

I made burgers dor tea too, very quick and easy

dd1 ate it no prob dd2 just threw it at me

then shouted for 'bic bic' (biscuit)

The worst of it is that I gave it to her

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 18:20

ok not coping at all, dd2 fell aslep in her clothes in her highchair at 5.30pm. was no way that I would have been able to wake her up and make hjer last any longer so I put her in her bed, she had a jumper on though so took it off, managing to crush her nose in the process...cue screaming fit,,,, and then she fell asleep again so she is in bed and now I am putting dd2 to bed a little early so I can collapse on my bed with a dvd of friends bliss

I reckon dd2 will wake up in a few hours and be hell to settle so I'm going to relax whilst I can

OP posts:
belgo · 20/01/2007 19:55

Hope you have a good evening TR - you deserve to relax.

TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 21:19

thanks belgo

got my head for a couple of hours

got a stinking headache now though but dd2 is still asleep

have you had a good day?

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 08:03

morning all

STILL got a stinking headache, trying to drink loads

dd2 woke upt at about 10 and it was 2.30am before I finally got her back to sleep and then she woke and demanded 'yok' (yoghurt) at 7 am

I did hang out the nappies last night though and dh did the dishwasher again so that was good.

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 10:39

where is everyone??? if your all having a lie in I will come and jump up and down on you

OP posts:
filthymindedvixen · 21/01/2007 11:01

morning TR, great thread idea. (Am at work too much to do flylady, but I have to get some sort of routine or we will descend into filth and chaos...)

How are you doing today?

TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 11:05

hey filthy

not doing too bad I guess, the MW is coming to see me cause I've had a headache since friday (which is really beginning to drive me F%^&ing insane)

the weather looks nice though

OP posts:
filthymindedvixen · 21/01/2007 11:11

(it's Me, FMF by the way)
lucky you, we were forced inside all day yesterday due to torrential rain, hail, winds, oh yes AND thunder and lightning!

With more forecast for today.,...(in yorks)

dh is taking boys off swimming now so I must drag myself of here and have a little burst of energy.
I am feeling very lethargic, stressed and a little down (my preschool - my fave job - is closing n wednesday after a long, spiralling decline - and I feel quite upset and emotional)

filthymindedvixen · 21/01/2007 11:12

{{{hugs for the headache}}} not fun at all, especially when you are tired, pg and have other little people to run around after

TrinityRhino · 21/01/2007 11:12

oh fullmoon, you poor thing, I'm not surprised you are feeling down

We were supposed to be getting snow here today (dumfriesshire) but at the mo it's looking lovely and sunny

purplemonkeydishwasher · 21/01/2007 11:17

hi TR,
sorry to hear about your sore noggin.
things here are very very slovenly!
i tend to just give up a the weekends and then curse the mess on monday.
we're going to MIL's for dinner tonight. so if i get the kitchen clean NOW then it'll still be clean tomorrow.
i just can't be bothered!!
what else are you up to besides being in pain and being visited my the midwife?
i think we're gong to go look at cars cause ours is about really to go to the scrapheap!
