Welcome one and all

I know all about flylady, think she is fab but at the moment feeling too emotionally crippled to cope with the emails, wearing shoes, the huge long threads, the pressure of doing it right.......

so no links to her please

I will get there at some point but for now

For whatever reason that you cry about your house or are scared to start cause there is tooo much to do.

Let s just whinge and try and do a little thing a day if we can

morning to all

ok - shopping is now actually (mostly) away - a few tins and non fridge/freezer stuff so I'll sort them later.

Need to pick DS1 up now - then I'll take some pictures and get stuff on ebay !

Quootiepie · 19/01/2007 15:13

That's why we need help with our houses, too busy isketching!

TrinityRhino · 19/01/2007 15:15

fannyannie · 19/01/2007 16:34

well I've made a start on my ebay listings - I've got 8 PS1 games up there now. And having just been browsing in the Want it Now - and discovering I have EXACTLY what someone is looking for (and quite unusual too - a particular Hymn Book - Organ Edition) shall go and put new batteries in the camera and list that too

nwgreenmum · 19/01/2007 17:04

Oh - I just fell asleep with DD [yawn]. Feel so much better though. Sent DS1 to pick up DS2 from school, and he found out that DS1 had an afterschool activity hour (New thing) and I had completely forgotten about it!
Oh, and while I was asleep it rained on my washing . What is the iscketch club? Can I try joining that too [suck up smile].
Fannie - how on earth are you still on your feet . All those hours awake and pg too? COngrats btw
Well done rhino for getting out

TrinityRhino · 19/01/2007 17:06

dh haws just gone to pick up dd1 so now I think I'll have the energy to make risotto...if dd2 stops being so grumpy and clingy

"Fannie - how on earth are you still on your feet"

Needs must and all that . Actually I'm mainly sat on my arse - but keeping busy while sat on it........the DS's have completely trashed the house - the box of little 'matchbox' cars which is supposed to be kept in their bedroom is emptied over the living room floor, they've taken books down, and I haven't yet taken DS1's wet sheets off his bed from this morning - but we're surviving.

Decided I'm going to do a nice easy dinner of Baked Potatoes - cooked in the Microwave. It's supposed to be their bath night but they'll survive until tomorrow - and I think once they're in bed at 8pm I'll be crashing into bed too.

fannyannie · 19/01/2007 18:53

right - the 'finishing' line is in sight - just over 1hr away. I've now changed the sheets on DS1's bed and tidied up DS2's one. I've put their clothes away that were ironed yesterday - and they're just sitting finishing their dinners off (they usually eat between 6-6.30 so not too late.

I've emptied the dishwasher - and started filling up with todays stuff - and I've put the rest of the tins and non-perishables away from teh shopping too. I still need to hang the clothes up that I've washed today - but I'll do that in a minute.

Then I think all that will be left after they're in bed is a quick once over the living room picking up any stray toys, take my pile of clothes upstairs and crash out.

Jelley · 19/01/2007 19:34

A big round of applause for fannyAnnie

fannyannie · 19/01/2007 19:36
  • thankyou - I've now hung the clothes up to dry, and have even managed to empty the kitchen bin into the black bin outside and put a new bag in it.

Just waiting for DS1 to get his PJ's on - then he'll get into bed - followed about 1/2hr later by DS2 (I know it's usually the other way round just he needs more sleep than DS2 does LOL) then I can eat then sleep

TrinityRhino · 19/01/2007 19:41

UCM · 20/01/2007 11:30

Morning Trinity, I am trying to have a burst today, but can't be arsed, I need that 'nesting' feeling to kick me into touch. I keep thinking that I can't have the baby until the bathroom floor is clean at least in case the m/w needs to go in there. It's white ceramic tiles and shows every bit of bloody dirt. So really instead of being on here, I should beg DH to take 'Henry' upstairs and hoover the floor and then get to it wiv me mop.

But no, I a shall meander in & out of threads that don't concern me on here and not do it

TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 11:31

actually I have put a wash on and folded more clean stuff

the dishwasher is still satring at me and I've almost started running past it lol
really must get a grip and do it

have had weetabix for berekkie and just had an early lunch of bacon and egg sandwich

dd1 is having a bacon sandwich whcich is good but dd2 is eating crisps, never mind

so I have managed to feed us and put some washing on will try to conquer the dishwasher soon

OP posts:
UCM · 20/01/2007 11:31

Blimey

UCM · 20/01/2007 11:32

Ok, you have spurred me on lol.

TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 11:32

hi UCM, when are you due??

rofl, I was thinking exactly the same thing about my bathroom earlier

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 20/01/2007 11:33

I have 2 weeks left now and sheeeeesh it feels like forever, I feel like I didn't sleep a wink last night, I weas up with dd2 once and to the loo about 6 times and just tossing and turning, CANNOT get comfortable

I really can't see a burst of energy coming my way anytime soon

OP posts:
UCM · 20/01/2007 11:34

24th, the house is tidy but bloody filthy IYNWIM, I just CANNOT BE ARSED which really is unlike me to leave it this long. I haven't had a real housework spurt for over a week, just pottering really.

fannyannie · 20/01/2007 11:34

well I went to bed at 9.20 last night, didn't even wake up until about 7, but dozed on and off until 10.50 - so had a seriously lazy morning.

I've just showered, and today I hope to get some more washing done (we seem to have a large backlog), and get some of my sheet music on ebay. Haven't decided what else yet LOL.

UCM · 20/01/2007 11:36

Ok, so the broken ankle doesn't help. But I have my cast now, so not any real excuse

But I bet if everything was clean and sparkly, I could go into labour unfettered by dreams of the m/w thinking I am a slob

belgo · 20/01/2007 11:41

UCM - a broken ankle whilst nine months pregnant is definately an excuse!

My excuse for the house looking like a tip is that both my girls have chicken pox, and I've been up most of the night with them, my dh has helped as well.

ItsMeMellowma · 20/01/2007 11:41
