JKSLtd Try to keep calm. Of course, it's a worrying situation, but you can't do anything about it. Just go with flow, and leave it to the professionals.
The re-plumbing is what I am avoiding, at present, although the outcome stats are good.
They always advise low-fat diets for gall-bladder problems, but I love my natural fats and have never noticed any connection between them and my problem.
In some of the medical research papers that I read, I discovered that sudden, substantial weight loss, is significantly often followed by gall-stones. This happened to me through a stressful crisis, not diet, just loss of appetite, 5 years ago - lost 5 stone in 3 months!
I discussed it with my endoscopist and we concluded that, if the gall-bladder (which I stll have) or liver (which can also produce stones) do not empty of bile regularly, bile salts etc can become concentrated and form into stones, more easily.
Seems to be the case with me, as I now have fat at every meal, and my stents should have blocked 15 months ago!
BTW, still overweight, but have maintained the 5st loss; normal BP and cholesterol 4!
keep your chin up!
