and it's not cos of the way you packed it and it only does it for certain parts of the cycle

what might it be?

(dh has forgotten where he 'put' the manual)

Let your DH out before you start the cycle?

Cappuccino · 24/10/2006 10:25

I really am going to shut him in it if he doesn't put a bit more effort into finding it

anyone?

ours does this and I always thought it was the way you pack it - that the spinny shower thing clonked tall things like the chopping board or pasta bowls on its way round. We run it overnight so the noise doesn't bother us - doesn't seem to affect cleaning performance.

NotQuiteCockney · 24/10/2006 10:30

We always check the spinny thing goes round properly, before putting it on.

Don't know what else this could be, sorry.

Cappuccino · 24/10/2006 12:42

have checked spinny thing

both full and empty

um, then perhaps, loose rack?
flap of bit you put the powder in wobbling around?
lid of salt reservoir?

Check for small children or pets , in our case its DH, no not in the dishwasher but just laods it all wrong .

PretendFriend · 24/10/2006 23:13

There are 2 spinny things - does that help at all?

PretendFriend · 24/10/2006 23:14

(3, even )

Rhubarb · 24/10/2006 23:16

Did he put the manual in the dishwasher for safe keeping perhaps? (you never know)

Or it could be that a troll has leaped out of Mumsnet and gotten stuck in the machine, one did depart just about 2 hours ago!
