We are doing well today with typing!

QuootieSpookypie · 22/10/2006 15:36

someone give me a small job to do?

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 22/10/2006 15:37

yeah, I blame the keyboard myself

Its good innit, the DSs dont have school for 2 weeks and ds1 wants to be awake even earlier then the school mornings.

Its really pissing it down here at the mo. its making me feel really cold

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 22/10/2006 15:41

Q you can come here and look after my DC while I go to bed to have a sleep lol

I was thinking the same, what could I be doing to stop me feeling yuk about today.

I will have to cook tea soon I suppose. I dont really feel like cooking though

TortUREoiseChamber · 22/10/2006 15:45

I can't give you a job to do Q! Can't even make myself do anything!!
Really need to put washing away and change my duvet cover.

jasnDISMemBERED · 22/10/2006 15:45

Did you do the towel rail Q? It should go below the handle, or you will constantly have the handle covered up...

I've just cleaned my kitchen window frames (bigish job as they are wooden with loads of tiny panes (?Georgian?))

I couldn't get mn to load at all for a while yesterday, maybe they are having tech probs.

QuootieSpookypie · 22/10/2006 16:47

cant go below...its too low. Such a dilemma

QuootieSpookypie · 22/10/2006 16:49

we are all losing motorvation, compared to our early threads ....

Well, I am!

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 22/10/2006 16:50

I cant seem to stay online

Dinner is cooking now though.

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 22/10/2006 17:05

I think we have are good days and some great days when we seem to be very busy, then other days when we all seem to wanting to do nothing!!

TortUREoiseChamber · 22/10/2006 17:06

I was thinking last night we seem to be lacking motivation or something. Thread seems quieter than before.
Tea cooing here too.
Sausages in the oven.Spuds and veg boiling.

asleep · 22/10/2006 17:09

slow cooker was a big hit with DP, as he loved the vegetable stew i made! need more veggie recipes to try!

TortUREoiseChamber · 22/10/2006 17:10

I keep forgetting to look at the recipes for the slow cooker.

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 22/10/2006 17:13

jas...... We had windows a bit like that when I lived with xp1. Windows with little pains of glass, 6 by 8 inchs and about 24 pains per window. just too many corners to deal with, It was like heaven when I moved here with xp2.Just 24 corners per window instead of 96 corners per window as it was in my old place. So mucg easier to clean with less corners

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 22/10/2006 17:15

Are you cooking my tea too then tortoise, Thats what we are having! We will be having gravy with ours though

TortUREoiseChamber · 22/10/2006 17:16

Im having gravy and DD2 might but DD1 doesn't like it!

PinkTulips · 22/10/2006 17:18

i decided to 'refresh my spirit' by having a pj day to reward myself for actually doing quite well this week. my house is noticably cleaner and tidier and i'm getting so much more done. can't get over how much differance even half following the system works

just hope i keep it up now......

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 22/10/2006 17:23

I am lucky with all mine liking gravy then tortoise.

Well done! PinkTulips for getting your home clean LOL @ pj day.

Ds1 would stay in pj all day if I let him, he hates getting dressed into day colths

PinkTulips · 22/10/2006 17:27

i'm a bit like that. love slouching around in my pj's but agree with flylady its not actually condusive to getting anything done!

i'm waiting for d to wake up to get dinner on, she hd nightmares all last night so has just crashed on the couch poor thing

TortUREoiseChamber · 22/10/2006 17:30

Im not quite in pjs but have track suit bottoms on! I would never wear them outside!
Its nice to have a relaxed slouchy day once a week!

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 22/10/2006 17:41

I have my trackie bottoms on, really old ones though and a baggie t-shirt and top.

Tea is now ready. I will dish it up, then we eat then I will get the kitchen sorted and cleaned

I will do the rest tomorrow

QuootieSpookypie · 22/10/2006 17:51

well, your all doing better than me... I shoved on one of DHs t-shirts after my shower... and im still wearing it

Just done a big 1 week meal planner... looked up new recipes, and my shopping list is huge!

Pink... your on my MSN!!??!

batinshoes · 22/10/2006 17:57

Hi everyone. Had a lovey break away and came back to a tidy house

Got messed up pretty quickly but I have just cleaned the kitchen post-dinner.

DD still has poorly tum 5 days on so wondering if I should go to Drs.

Hope you're all ok.

TortUREoiseChamber · 22/10/2006 17:59

Welcome back bat.Hope it was a good break.
Might be a good idea to see the doc.Depends how bad she is.

Im stuffed after eating all that tea!!

batinshoes · 22/10/2006 18:02

thanks tort.

She's fine in herself. Eating ok - although i've given her bland stuff all day and it seems to have made a tiny difference. Just v. runny no 2s a couple of times a day now but it just seems like its gone on a bit long...
