despite a very early start (5.30 ) i managed quite a few things so far

made beds, all dressed and washed and haired, d/w, washing folded and upstairs (can't put it away just now, dp is asleep), dryer is on, w/m is on, dinner is cooking (used the slow cooker again - have planned a busy week for it )

and kids driving me craaaazyyyyy

I going to bath DSs in a mo. They got a bit dirty as we had leaf fights but it was fun

Just fed DS (in the vain hope that he might last longer than 45 mins before next feed if I feed solids this late), bathed him and out him to bed. He went off quite quick I daresay ill be back in there in a few mins...

Evening all, just back from my holiday today. I normally have a horrible sense of dread coming home, but didn't this time perhaps because i didn't open the door to a smeely heap that gives the impression I have been burgled by rancid burglers.

But as I emptied the bins, put on dishwasher and left it all tidy it wasn't to bad.

I don't even have too much post holiday washing as I did a few half loads when we were away. ThankfullY I didn't have a spare toothbrush or I would have been at the taps and grout .

I have even put away most of the holiday stuff already, I did have a box lying since last years holiday full of drawing stuff, souviners and leaflets, infact I think it is now in the loft still intact .

So I am back and ready to get back to it.

Well ive been busy all week putting up decs for DS2's Halloween party which was today!

I saw the pic . I will have to get mine kitted out for the school disco [groan]. Plus I voluntered to make halloween party favours for a friend who is doing a party at home for all her relations children. Doing them for free as I have all the stuff from a canceled order last year and just glad to get rid of the stuff. I will get them done sooner than later to avoid my usual last mintute panic. I am getting better .

DS slept last night, so I am looking like this today.

DP stayed in with the kids and I got to go and do a big shop ON MY OWN last night. If I don't have to buy more stuff during the week (except bread and milk) then we will definitely have saved money and it will become a regular thing

I'm giving myself a day off from flying today, just maintenance if kitchen and bathroom, nothing more.

i finally figures where our closest aldi and lidl is - they are rather cheap and still good quality and every week different extras to browse
i hope to go there every other week and do the 'main-shopping' there and fresh things during the week if needed.

I was here yesterday but only briefly, and missed this thread.
Today I am going to blitz the house..dh has the day off so he will be hogging the computer no doubt!!!
Good thing really as I have no excuses! Must do kitchen...light a fire..tumble dryer is buggered so need the rads on!
Must also dust our bedroom!

The night at my dads was great thanks, a real treat to just do what i want because dad was there to sort the girls!

I felt almost 100% afain by yesterday morning, and my dads is SO lazy when it comes to cleaning, and my fly obsession set in and off i went!

He appreciated it though, so I could make this a weekly thing at his house and get paid for it!!

Having a lazy morning! DD2 was in my bed half the night.I woke at 3am half led in a big wet patch!She had wet the bed. My fault,i should of taken her for a wee when she woke up!
Susi I'd love to go to my local Aldi/Lidl but just too dificult with no car! Im not carrying piles of shopping with dd's on the train!
I have put the heating on,its chilly this morning.

Morning - im up and washed, bathroom is swished and swiped, DH did the kitchen... thats 'bout it really! House is OK, so not sure ill do much else today... DH is off to MILs in abit, so ill have to look after DS

I have masses of washing to put away again! Why O Why can't i put it away as soon as its dried?

Me too thats why it never gets done!! But I do have 5 peoples washing to sort.DS's can do theirs but just ram it in the draw then can't fit it all in!

I throw it all on the bed for DH - its one of few jobs I just wont do
