They aren't exactly sick. Just a bit grouchy but thats probably more to do with having a grumpy mummy! Ive done a little basic tidying in the kitchen.
flossie Ive seen that before and it is very funny!
Awww Jarm you have been doing loads.Have a rest now.

sahmtotwo · 12/10/2006 13:31

Good afternoon Fly babies

Tort don't give up. If you are just doing a little bit each day. Even just washing your sink it all goes to help. ((((((hugs))))) Hope the LO's are better soon. You've got a lot on your plate at the moment so don't be to hard on yourself.

This morning I've....

  1. made my bed
2 swished and swiped inc. wiping down top of b/room bin, nappy bucket and loo brush holder.
  1. Taken DS1 to school.
4.Listed a few items on freecycle after I had cleaned them up. 5.Hung out 2 loads of washing.
  1. Emptied d/w and put brekkie stuff in it.
  2. Washed one of the walls in the kitchen
  3. Cleared down the white board (most of the stuff was pre 2005 ) and put up important things like shopping list and school stuff.
  4. Cleaned out the mop bucket and the cleaning bowl.
10. Looked through a couple of catalogues and marked some things for Christmas presents. 11. Pulled down the empty suitcase from the wardrobe and put the clothes that are too small for the boys in it ( they were in a plastic bag in the hall which had got ripped and were always falling all over the place ) 13. Sorted out a load of paerwork. Binned the junk and put the rest in a drawer I have decided to dedicate to bills and paper work to be sorted at a later date. 13 Went to pick up DS1 from school, was late because I got carried away cleaning and forgot the time lol . Never thought I'd hear my self say that about cleaning lol

Am loving having the timer. It's amazing how it concentrates the mind and makes you get on with things. I even had time for a 15 minute break ( timed of course

pmsl at that video. I haven't got sound on this computer so it was amusing just watching them. Have emailed it to DH so I will watch it on his lappy tonight with sound.

TortUREoiseChamber · 12/10/2006 13:49

Found this pic in local paper! DS2 in the carnival He is Sulley from Monsters Inc(Blue monster!!)
5th pic down on the left!

singersgirl · 12/10/2006 13:51

Sorry I haven't checked in - did my bin, my work surfaces (even moved the microwave) and the large appliances - my taps are pretty clean.

DH has been commandeering my in our office, and I've been sorting paper and shredding old stuff as per the October habit. So keeping up with the basics, but not much more.

Bucketsofbloodydinosaurs · 12/10/2006 13:55

OMG I just tried a babywipe on the silver kettle, toaster, microwave and tin opener - magic! I sooo didn't want it to be true, I have a thing about babywipes but I may be converted for this purpose.

batinshoes · 12/10/2006 14:09

Hi all, I tried to get here earlier but could not get the page.

I have not done very much today, when into bath to do a good shop. Needed food to put back in my now clean, defrosted freezer. Iceland have not long got here with it

Tea is now cooking and then its the bed time bits to do with DC.

Tortoise, dont give up. Just do little bits and they all add up. You did loads lastnight with sorting out your understairs cupboard
And thankyou for making DC happy with MSN

batinshoes · 12/10/2006 17:11

WOW - you defrosted your freezer??????? I'm impressed

Hazelnut, which side of Bath are you?

This afternoon I have

  1. Brought in clothes off the washing line.
  2. Folded them and put them away.
  3. Deep cleaned the frige. OMG couldn't believe how dirty it had got the seals were black and the shelves were a breeding farm for all sorts. Nice and shiny now thogh

Just sitting down now to a lovely homemade stir fry chicken.Yummy!!1

TortUREoiseChamber · 12/10/2006 17:20

Furious with DH. I knew he was going out tonight but he neglected to tell me he was being picked up at 6.30 (instead of usual 8pm rendezvous). So he comes home at 6.10pm and refuses to do anything other than stand there in front of CBeebies until his lift arrives. I went to so much effort with my mealplan and tonight's was something that could be done fairly quickly as soon as the kids were in bed.) Well, I'm going to eat it all myself (grownup version of Cod's 'ocean nibbles'.) If we had any alcohol in the house I would get very very drunk.

I agree with Ruby...don't leave dressing up to a dad...

TortUREoiseChamber · 12/10/2006 19:09

Ah but Ruby he wants residency of them!!! Well thats what he tells people!!
I know his mother will do it for him!

TortUREoiseChamber · 12/10/2006 19:10

I don't blame you for being furious. Looks like he will be in punishment this weekend!! What horrible job can you find that really needs him to do!

im back had inches chopped off it was so bad.

dont leave it to a man - this thread proves they are useless!

TortUREoiseChamber · 12/10/2006 19:16

Wow how does it feel??

I know the whole useless man part of it but if he wants residency why should i always bail him out? I don't have a clue what sort of outfit he needs or how to make it either.
