my upstairs is gleaming, dusted, hoovered, mopped and even the skirting boards got washed. also got the 2 bathrooms done and a quick once over of the kitchen, and a few loads of laundry washed and hung. just got the hall and stairs to do now

Flamebat · 11/10/2006 17:34

bah - went out all day

Bucketsofbloodydinosaurs · 11/10/2006 17:36

Bum. I've done very little today. Can I be bothered to change our bedlinen to blind DH to the rest of the house? Bit worried as I dyed some old baby vests and sleepsuits olive green in the machine last night. Did a safety wash of rags and teatowels since but not sure whether to risk my posh white percales yet.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 11/10/2006 17:38

Done not a lot

But in fairness, it didnt NEED a lot doing, so can make up for it tomorrow!

sahmtotwo · 11/10/2006 18:02

Hope you are feeling loads better Chloe. Babysteps are the way and it will soon be nice again.

I've not done much flying today. Up today and showered and dressed. Swished and swiped. Made bed when we crawled out of it, it's been so good everytime I've been in there today it looks so nice even with the detritus round it. Walked the eldest to school and then walked down town to do a bit of shopping. Found a really good electronic timer in Wilko's for £2.49. Got a new quilt for the dog bed, so I can throw out his stinking one. Got my meat and veg from the local shops. Did some banking. Then as it was pishing down I treated the baby and I to a taxi ride home. Cost blooming £4 .

Emptied D/W and loaded brekkie stuff. Folded clothes off airers and put it away and put more up out of the W/M. Sat and bf baby.

Went and picked up eldestest from school. It was pishing down again so we popped over the road to the hospital and had lunch in the cafeteria there.

Got home and sorted recycyling. Cleaned the stairgate down that DH rescued from the shed at the weekend and put it up at the kitchen door (NCT sale this Saturday and hopefully will be able to pick up a few there ) Washed down worktops. Fed baby who dozed off and so did I [lush].

Made tea which they are just scoffing now. Will just sit with DS1 and do his Phonics then will do the bedtime routine.

Don't feel I've acheived much today at all

TortUREoiseChamber · 11/10/2006 19:24

Ive just pulled out all the stuff in the understairs cupboard!
Now going to sort out stuff to stick on Ebay.
Single items or batches of one age?

Chloe55stakesinavampiresheart · 11/10/2006 19:43

sahtotwo - sound slike you have done loads today!!

Tortoise - I would put batches up on ebay, you will probably have more luck in selling them.

TortUREoiseChamber · 11/10/2006 19:45

Thanks Chloe. Im going to be putting a fair amount in the charity shop cos im fed up with it all hanging around!
How many time would you re-list an item thats not sold before?

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 11/10/2006 19:48

Evening all. Sorry your solicitor was not a great help to you tortoise, sounds to me like you knew that already. there is only 1 option they did not say and thats they dont live with either of you. That 1 my solicitor told me that SS could do last year. It still worries me today with what XP1 is doing now
My fingers are crossed for you for the end of the month.
I had a so so afternoon. DD had a sleep so I had a little light nap. Felt worse after it though.
DSs enjoied the bus ride home. I have to see if they get a ride home tomorrow and friday now. I was suppose to have a phone call about it today but not done so yet.
Went to cook DC tea and found the freezer door partly open and most of the food was thawed out the food waste bin is a bit over full now. A trip to tesco tomorrow now to get some more food to put in the freezer. I was going to clean and defrost the freezer last week, I wish I did now!! Oh well.

SusiSkelletonInTheCloset · 11/10/2006 19:51

SusiSkelletonInTheCloset · 11/10/2006 19:52

and you never know - it might turn better than expected - everything crossed anyways!!!!

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 11/10/2006 19:53

sahmtotwo I think you have done well today

There is only so much you can do in 1 day and there is tomorrow.

TortUREoiseChamber · 11/10/2006 20:01

There is no way they would say they can't live with either of us!
Sorry you have a poorly dd Susi.
Im taking DD's to the Docs in the morning because they have both had a cough for about 2 weeks now! We seem to be lucky here and not get the sicky bugs.

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 11/10/2006 20:50

My computer broke but its fixed now my camera actually works! Im well chuffed... only got 7 random pics on the computer, but, I will take some of my bathroom for you lot! Bought peach paint, and ordered the brown sofas. Finally got a table and chairs aswell so I can eat in a civilised manner! Now... how do I get these pics so you can see them?

TortUREoiseChamber · 11/10/2006 20:58

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 11/10/2006 21:13

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 11/10/2006 21:17

his socks are always falling off...

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 11/10/2006 21:28

At least its not on their chests tortoise. I hate it when DS2 gets a cough and it goes chesty. DS1 and DD just seem to get the dry coughs.
Very cute Q Wish DD was still that small, I sure they grow up more quickly the more you have.
