Here we go again- a new month to whip our houses into shape!

If you're suffering from CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome) and STUFF (something that undermines family fun) then you need Flylady.

Don't sign up for emails on the Flylady website as you'll be inundated. Everything you need to know will be posted in the thread on a daily basis.

Depending on the stage you're at with FL you'll be:

  1. Starting or repeating FL's babysteps.
  1. Repeating babysteps + decluttering for 15 minutes per day in current zone.
  1. Reinforce babysteps + daily missions if you'vefinished decluttering.

4.Number 3 and detailed cleaning anyone here yet??!

Bear in mind:

  1. You're never behind!
  1. No perfectionism allowed.
  1. Your house did not get into a mess overnight, it won't get tidy overnight.

Some of the fledglings have been chatting and flying on MN for 10 years. I still think of myself as a newbie sometimes (even though I've been here for 2+ years!). Everyone's welcome! Old timers, newbies and lurkers alike, come and share your ta das, to dos and a whole lot more Smile

Sorry for lack of OP links - am posting on the laptop that time forgot and am just keeping my fx that the OP posts!

Will be back on August 31st (pretty late probably!) with links for the 1st September.

Ta da
day at work
washing up
made packed lunch
swept kitchen floor

to do
lay out clothes
restock nursery bag
reports Sad

So annoyed with one of my colleagues who stole 2 of my year 13s this afternoon for an extra lesson in HIS subject which is obviously so much more important than MY subject. So unprofessional not to ask or check (I would have said no as they're preparing for Internal Assessment). Grrr.

So long September!

done
two kids to school with protein breakfasts, PE kit and a note for ds1 who seems to be floundering again with organisation Sad He said he couldn't do his biology because he did violin in lesson, and had no test results to use for his write up, and when he asked someone they refused to lend him theirs (all very convoluted) 20 people to ask in his class and not one would lend him results..I find that hard to believe..or else yet again he is the odd one out Sad I suggested he write down two phone nos for each subject so he always had someone to ask for help with the homework but he refuses to do that. Forsee complete inability to do his GSCE's Sad and continuing to bury head in sand..

Ds2 is still asleep Shock teenage melatonin patterns kicking in. Which explains why is must be such torture for poor ds1 and dd to get up every morning when they go to bed at the same time as ds2..Confused

Ds1 and I watched the Apprentice last night. Brilliant. I pointed out to ds1 what it looked like when people talked over others and argued constantly and blamed others Grin and how unattractive it was.

done
found mobile phone which I had lost, when it rang. dd's tights had turned from brown to purple due to being on heated radiator, and she only noticed they were purple when she reached school. Oh dear. I can do nothing, except remind her that I offered her a second pair of tights and she refused them when she set off.
