I have my shoes on... sink was all clean last night but by the time I got down this morning - it was a mess again... DH eating leftovers for brekker has caused the mischief. Just a quick question - today a friend was whining about her house being a mess and I couldn't decide whether to tell her about flylady or not - would she think I was a dork? (or did I secretly want an awe-inspiring house with everyone wondering how on earth I manage?) - anyway I told her in the end, so I am no longer a woman of mystery. Have you all told your chums what you're up to??!

tortoise · 30/08/2006 13:52

Back from town now.

Welcome auntyquated.

tortoise HVs are so cheeky aren't they?! mine looked around at my decor and asked me when we were planning on decorating!! Alright - we've just moved into a wreck that we're doing up - but what if I'd CHOSEN the brown and orange carpet??!

damewashalot · 30/08/2006 14:01

Help, I'm slacking, lunch stuff in kitchen still and I'm on here. I know I wanted the day off but I mustn't let it slide.
I'm not telling RL people they'll think I'm mad, they might not be wrong

beckyndanuk · 30/08/2006 14:02

Only found this site this morning and now you are helping me keep my home clean - is there no end to what you can do???

mummyhill · 30/08/2006 14:06

Alexmum - Yes it was free. You have to have small childern or elderly bods living in the house and as you are on here I am assuming that you would qualify.

RubyRioja - Yes they were.

beckyndanuk - Welcome. There is no limit to what we on mumsnet can achieve, no question that will not eventualy be answered.

mummyhill · 30/08/2006 14:08

Must take a refresher course on spelling or nag tech to fit a spell check for us!!!

Flamesparrow · 30/08/2006 14:10

Today is going downhill fast, but to be fair, I've done what I have to do.

DS is miserable.

I've told everyone what I'm doing ... lots think I'm nuts

mummyhill · 30/08/2006 14:25

I've told my mum and a few close friends and after all the hassle I had with social services last year they think it is a great idea and are being really supportive.

franch · 30/08/2006 14:25

Oh my goodness I can't keep up with this thread .....

mummyhill · 30/08/2006 14:28
