So, I have a shiny sink and I registered with the uk one yesterday, have I done something wrong? should I not be getting emails? Have had a welcome one from my local group person but no flying stuff

trinityrhino · 23/08/2006 07:58

you will get the emails, sometimes it takes a day to get going, hang in there casue it's better to get the reminders at about the right time

shazronnie · 23/08/2006 08:03

I'm with the American group, and yes, the emails do appear at odd times, but I like that!

I use them as a checklist, so when the laundry reminder comes I only delete it if I've done my load a day. I like to read all the cheesey testimonials from the USA flybabies - i don't know if you get those on the UK site.

You can also check the days messages on the website here

Morning ladies.

lol dome, you sound far too organised

Well I can't quite believe it. I am up, showered, hair washed and dressed BEFORE coming downstairs to have breakfast for the first time since...errr...since ds was born I think

tortoise · 23/08/2006 08:30

Morning all.
Didn't see your message last night dome! Im impressed with the ptinting out and laminating.
Im have the us emails too.Have just remembered to unsubscribe to UK one! It was getting a bit too much all those reminders!

Boys here soon so I may not be around much today.

Well done DontlookatmeImshy.Very impressed!

How are you doing today tr?

No Q again?

tortoise · 23/08/2006 09:21

I have cleared the stairs of all the toys and bits that have been building up on the side for over a week!!
Then hoovered them!

trinityrhino · 23/08/2006 09:23

I've brushed my hair, dd1 is clean , fed and organised for school and at school.

dd2 is fed and clean and playing on the floor

tortoise · 23/08/2006 09:27

Cappuccino · 23/08/2006 10:05

shazronnie if you join the UK chat group you get all these other women's to do lists I mentioned earlier

that was where I got the lovely information about Sue needing to clean the 'black' out of her ds's ears

don't go there

I too love pottering round with my control journal but I fear that the laminating is for others what writing out my routines with a fountain pen is for me - A WAY OF AVOIDING FAFFING ABOUT WITH MY LAUNDRY

just a thought

anyway this morning have 'rescued' the stairs and done a hotspot ie moved all the stuff from a hotspot and put it somewhere else

flylady keeps mentioning my desk but it's not in my bedroom. hmmm. surely she doesn't want me to do the study as well? or perhaps I should move the desk...

Cappuccino · 23/08/2006 10:06

anyone else and at Ruby?

she swans in here chippily between her beach trips and her bike rides

naff off

AmandaP · 23/08/2006 10:35

Morning gals! Just catching up on what's been going on. TR - well done, I'm really pleased you sound much brighter. Just don't do too much and get exhausted!!

I've been slacking I'm afraid. Did bits yesterday but nothing in my bedroom, didn't shine sink yesterday evening either (we went to see the Rolling Stones in concert last night and didn't get back until 1am so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) and now I've only just got up!!!! Kids stayed with my parents last night, so have just got to get dressed and look at today's tasks and then I'll be flying again.

Tortoise - you must be relieved - I'm so pleased for you.

I'll rush off and start flying now - will catch you later!
