hiya sorry to bother, feel like shit still, motivate me to brush my hair through and then wash it please

Cappuccino · 21/08/2006 16:52

trinity is anyone coming home anytime soon? dp maybe?

if it were me I'd be calling dh at work now and saying I really need you not to be late, I need a bath, please take responsibility for the kids as soon as you get back and let me have some time

and have a really nice bath and hairwash

trinityrhino · 21/08/2006 16:53

he just came in, think I'll try that , thanks

tortoise · 21/08/2006 17:08

Im back with neat hair!
Have just emptyed the tent and put the sleeping bags away.

Hope you get your hair wash tr.Have a nice soak in the bath while dp is around. You deserve it.

domestickler · 21/08/2006 17:21

sorry, i vanished there.

why dont you go in the bath, take brush in with you

wash with shampoo then lather on conditioner - loads of it!!

then the heat from the bath and the conditioner should make it easier to brush through

longwaytogo · 21/08/2006 17:31

right i have decluttered a little bit of the bedroom, washed and dried three loads of washing and had a friend and two children here with my 4 since 11.30. Tea is in the oven and I have a shiny sink, but rest of house really needs sorting as does bedroom need finishing decluttering.

trinityrhino · 21/08/2006 17:37

proud of myself, I managed to brush it throw and then washed it with the shower head over the bath whilst dh had the little one. I hate baths and didn't feel up to a shower(don't like getting wet, it's alright once your wet but getting wet[weird emoticon])

so my hair is washed and I know what I'm making for tea

however I brushed my teeth also for the first time in god knows how long and my gums bled really badly and so I thought maybe some listerine would help, sheesh that hurt, do you think it's casue I'm pregnant or something else

trinityrhino · 21/08/2006 17:37

' brush it through ' duh

tortoise · 21/08/2006 17:47

Glad you got your hair washed.Bet it feels heaps better.
I think bleeding gums are common in preg.Have you seen a dentist lately? Don't think its anything to worry about.Mine bleed a bit all the time when brushed.

tortoise · 21/08/2006 17:48

Forgot to add that i have ironed trousers and 3 shirts for tomorrow because i don't know which one to wear.

shazronnie · 21/08/2006 17:52

well done Trinity, hopefully you feel a bit better. When i feel miserable and fed up I always feel better with nice hair and make up on! My gums bled alot when pg, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Do you look all glam now Tortoise? (or should that be more glam? I don't know your usual look!)

back to flylady; I have chucked out 2 big carrier bags of clothes!!!

OP posts:
tortoise · 21/08/2006 17:54

Glam? Me? No way!! Jeans and a top normally!
I hate being dressed up.
Although last time i went to court a car did drive past and someone whistled at me.

domestickler · 21/08/2006 17:56

I have just started my weekly home blessing.

Remind what else it involves I have just emptied bins and hoovered throughout.

Also done kellys mission for today and 15 minutes chucking out in the bedroom

Did my morning routine this morning

shazronnie · 21/08/2006 17:56

Hmm, pulling on the way to court is prob not a good thing!

OP posts:
shazronnie · 21/08/2006 17:58

D, you have to polish mirrors, purge magazines, dust and mop but only for max 10 mins each.

OP posts:
domestickler · 21/08/2006 18:00

Ok, polish mirrors, dust and mop still to go then!

AmandaP · 21/08/2006 18:12

Trinityrhino - well done, I am really proud of you. If you look back at your first post this morning, you have done so well. That's all you need to do - tiny little baby steps - don't beat yourself up.

Tortoise - good luck for tomorrow but don't forget to layout the right top tonight so that you don't have to panic about it in the morning! Although if you are anything like me, you'll change your mind several times in the morning!!

What gets me about the weekly blessing thing is how are you only supposed to spend 10 mins hoovering the whole house? I know it's just the middle of the rooms, no moving furniture etc, but it took me 10 mins just to do downstairs and we live in a small cottage, nothing big and fancy. Anyway, I did it for 20 mins and that will have to do! Perhaps I'll get faster with practice

trinityrhino · 21/08/2006 18:13

thanks amanda, tea is in the oven too

AmandaP · 21/08/2006 18:19

Brilliant! i should be doing that, but instead I'm here on MN with a beer in my hand - how neglectful am I?????

jenk1 · 21/08/2006 18:23

hello ive joined Flylady as well.

Today i have cleaned and hoovered my hall carpet, shined my sink and tidied and cleaned the kitchen, decluttered my bedroom for 15 mins and did some washing.

Feel really pleased today.

Tomorrow i will carry on with decluttering my bedroom and do some ironing.

tortoise · 21/08/2006 18:36

Welcome jenk1. Great start to FLYing for you.

coggy · 21/08/2006 18:59

trinity....sounds like you are doing well.

tortoise...I like the whistling! Go girl!!!
You sounds like you are getting well prepared for tomorrow with your hair and clothes organised.
Get as much sorted as possible and they'll be a few less things to need to worry about in the morning.
X
