Goth - I am 5'1" and today weigh 71.3kg. (11 stone 3). I would like to be 9 1/2 stone but would settle for 10!

I joined a gym 2 months ago and for the first month swam twice a week and lost a couple of pounds but since I have been unwell I have put it all on again. I am going to start again once the kids are back at school and plan to eat 'much' smaller portions. A couple of years go I ate off side plates for one month and lost half a stone Shock. No effort required.

MerryBuddha · 31/12/2013 11:08

Shh!! It is 11 and I still in bed. Shock

MercuryRising · 31/12/2013 11:29

That will do. I can feel the last day of 2013 being a lazy oneGrin

MercuryRising · 31/12/2013 11:30

Merry just read your post. We must have the same mindset today Grin Grin Grin

AliceinWinterWonderland · 31/12/2013 11:37

WhispersOfWickedness · 31/12/2013 11:43

Goth - I quite like Hull Blush When I worked in Grimsby with a load of psychologists, they all lived in Hull and commuted as Hull was obviously so much better than Grimsby ;)

Merry - I am not surprised you are still in bed after your mammoth ta da list yesterday, you deserve it! Wine

Sorry everyone, I am going to be clogging up the thread loads today while on my 15 min breaks Blush

ToffeeWhirl · 31/12/2013 12:02

Goth - thank you so much for being such a brilliant thread leader. Smile
Not sure if I will make it back before the New Year, so Happy New Year everyone.

Sillybillybob · 31/12/2013 12:07

I've just put the same load of washing on for the 3rd time. Must remember to take it out and hang it up today...

BitchytheGreat · 31/12/2013 12:16

No worries about being in bed. my original plan was to sleep until 2pm. however i woke up at 11am feeling rested Shock. i have just been brought coffee by a well meaning personm who was lucky i was awake Hmm we do communicate in this house but some have selective hearing and memories...

Got side tracked whilst suppoesd to be thinking about my to do list.
Crisis tidy: lounge, dining room, porch
Laundry through machine
folding
ironing
packing
clothes away
hoovering
mince pies make up
cook brownies
trip to shops -nail polish remover and a few other little bits
Burn photo CD
Ring ds
Sort out present - photos to print and put into frames
write letters not done before christmas
Set up thread
remove chipped nail polish

However, most importantly i need to get up. So breakfast and shower are first on the list of things to do.

elliepac · 31/12/2013 12:19

Another one just getting dressed hereBlush. Then to brave the food shop and a trip into town to get DD some new boots as she has scuffed hers after only 2 monthsAngry.

WhoKnowsWhereTheMistletoes · 31/12/2013 12:27

Stayed in bed till 10 and have just got dressed.

I don't know Lincolnshire at all. I went to see a football match at Grimsby Town once (believe the stadium is actually in Cleethorpes?). Had lovely fish and chips on the seafront beforehand. Match was memorable for the funniest (unintentionally) half time entertainment I have ever seen. .

Anyway, ta-da!
Nothing much, have cleaned kitchen and scrubbed a few grubby bathroom bits (soapdish etc).
Cat made another attempt at pot plant toileting, but decided against when she realised I had covered the soil with rosemary cuttings from the garden (hoping the smell and feel will put her off).
Supervised DCs emptying DW.
First load of washing in dryer second about to go on.

Goth - I'm not good at heights either, but am trying to overcome my fears. I also love a good view so definitely going to try the Titan. Thank you very much for thread leading this month, brilliant job Thanks.

ToffeeWhirl · 31/12/2013 12:45

Was eating my breakfast when DH came back from work for his lunch today Blush.

Have unloaded and reloaded the d/w. Have my best friend here, so there is a lot of chatting going on and no Flying Smile.

MercuryRising · 31/12/2013 13:07

ToffeeWhirl · 31/12/2013 13:13

Just told DS1 off for not being dressed. Then realised I am still in my dressing gown Blush.

BitchytheGreat · 31/12/2013 13:18

CallingAllEngels · 31/12/2013 13:34

Just put ds down for a nap, came back downstairs and dh has disappeared. Guessing hoping he's in the garage doing some decluttering!

Ta da

Ta da:-
Bath
Town
Aldi
DH tidied up

To do:-
Washing up
Visit dsis for an hour or so
Have lovely quiet family NYE

GoingGoingGoth · 31/12/2013 14:49

Eustacia we're very similar, I'm 5'2 & 11st 1, yes those target weights sound about right.

Been for a walk, went to the library, bank and the park, we had fun feeding peanuts to squirrels & blue tits. Then took some scraps for the ducks & swans.

About to get on with the ironing, luckily don't have to think about dinner as DH is reinstating Tuesday night curry, he's getting to be quite good at them.

CallingAllEngels · 31/12/2013 14:50

ellie I couldn't believe the queues in Sainsbury's the Monday before Christmas. It was unbelievable! You'd think people could cope with the supermarket being shut for one day!

We have lots of yummy things for tonight - DH is going to make some sushi with smoked salmon, we have some prawns for a prawn cocktail, lots of cheese, ripe avocados for guacamole and lots of bread and crackers to have with oil and vinegar. Also picked up some of my favourite wine to enjoy because after the next few days (NYE, NYD and my birthday) I am eating clean (she says!).

Bloody firecrackers and bangs rocking our city now (only time people can set them off legally - more money than sense some people). though will be lovely to out at midnight and see the proper fireworks.

Have no idea what we're eating for dinner tomorrow. Will probably go round to ILs for coffee in morning, the collapse at home. Would like something packed with veg tomorrow so maybe a casserole.
