If poo got into your duplo box what would you do?

As the title suggests, some poo got into the duplo box (DH's fault). I've wiped the poo off where I could see it, but would like to a more thorough clean.

Should I:

a) put it in a laundry bag and then in the washing machine with a towel

b) put it in a laundry bag and then in the dishwasher or

c) chuck it in a vat of milton (which I'm worried about leaving any bits of sterilised poo that I've missed still on the duplo)

Surely I'm not the only one who's had a poo situation in the duplo box! What's the standard solution?

I work in a nursery and we put duplo etc in the dishwasher on a weekly basis.

I wouldn't put it in the wagging machine add it would bash about too much surely.

Rubber gloves on, wipe with disinfectant wipes and then rinse under tap and put into a dishwasher cycle wash by themselves.

Thanks tiredness pooey duplo really was the last thing on my mind at that time! I'm ready to face it now though, and I take on board your comments about the mesh bags.

tee hee justilou took me a few reads to get that - I'm soooo tempted!

A few people seem to have had to deal with "waste" in lego boxes. I feel a bit better now!

Well, naturally you need to make many small cubes of poo.

Grin thank God this duplo doesn't belong to my neighbour!

"I love the smell of duplo in the morning" just doesn't have the same ring to it!
