I have half a day of ds at school and a couple of days grace before I start mt holidays properly with dc's. Why haven't you done it while he was still at school you ask? Well I made the most of last two weeks going out and generally having peace and quiet with 4 month old dd as I know I will get very little from now on.

So

Laundry x approx 6, have backlog due to muggy weather, towels etc, bedding.
Full house clean
Order tesco vouchers
Finish summer list

Done list ( more a you not a lazy sofa surfing cow after all)
Laundry x 2
Cleared up leak
Washed and dressed dc
Cooked breakfast for all three
Fed baby
School run

Random moan, dear weather I just wanted warm not blistering hot, I'm already sunburnt thanks.

By 1030

Spring cleaned master bedroom
Dust
Hoover
Clean windows
Stripped bed
Fold hideous pile of clean clothes into person piles
Tidy it's of clutter on bedside.

That'll do

my 2 dd came back and the place is a bombsite. my dh busy moaning and shouting at them because they make such a mess.

HiccupHaddockHorrendous · 30/07/2012 10:14

Is there room for me? Grin

I have a very long list today...it's still in my bag from when I wrote it yesterday but I'll try and relist it here from memory...

... Refill kitchen (had it painted last week while we were away and everything is on the sitting room floor).
Find and complete tax credits form
Put cupboard doors on new cupboard (built the bulk of it last night but lost the will to live when it came to attaching the doors)
Dismantle old shelving unit

There was lots more on the list but the refilling the kitchen is going to take forever because there is so much crap kitchen stuff to come back in.

HiccupHaddockHorrendous · 30/07/2012 14:35

I'm still working on refilling the kitchen Hmm. There's just so much stuff.

On the plus side...my new cupboard looks beautiful even if it does only holds a quarter of the amount I'd hoped it would.

I think I've got the bulk of the stuff in and have filled three big bags for the charity shop so not a complete waste of a day.

Ds has his friend here now and my path from sitting room to kitchen is partially blocked by wii playing children so I might move on to looking for tax credits renewal form .

Born2bemild · 30/07/2012 23:30

Hi. Need to get back on track after a couple of slack days. Will finish sorting out clothes tomorrow, and clean some windows!

MrsNouveauRichards · 31/07/2012 09:17

Hello, can I join you for a few days?

I had plans of getting organised over the summer, but then I had my niece stay for the first week of the hols, and I got very little done!

Today I have:

Got up and dressed
Made our bed and tidied our bedroom
Everyone breakfast
Dishy emptied and reloaded
Breakfast cleared up
1 DC dressed (one to go)
Started on the meal plan

I need to do in the next hour:
Finish meal plan
Get other DC dressed
Do some washing up
Laundry
Do something with the sitting room! (it looks like a bombsite)

MrsNouveauRichards · 31/07/2012 10:06

All done! Sitting room still looks like a bombsite but I have got a binbag of toys out for charity shop - good start!

It means I can sit down with a cup of tea to watch the Olympics :o

HI Grin, oh my! I had a nightmare day yesterday so didn't get on and flew by the seat of my temper most of the day, well DH was off work, and DS was being horrendous! But i am calm now, yes i am! Smile

Welcome hiccups ooooh just think when it's all done how nice your kitchen will be, i remember wanting to cook all day long when I once had a new kitchen fitted in my old house where I'd picked it all myself! Must say I thought your Monday list was ambitious, well by standards Grin did you really get cupboard done too! Well good luck with tax credits form. I used to claim and frequently rung them up for advice (first thing in am is best I think) then can be confuzzling Blush

born yes me too, though house is still clean and tidy, I still need lists to keep me focussing. Yesterday I did sort out MOT as woke up very anxious that this was overdue, sure enough it was I was not able to purchase tax disc that ran out today Blush. I mostly filled the rest of the day with being angry and sulking ( thinks I have the pmt as now I'm all achey, this happens last month too what's all that about?)

I have pretty much done the same as you today mrsd and your meal planning had reminded me to do this as even though it's start of month I've overspent this weekend so need to trim where I can and use up what's in.

laundry from weekend,
hoovered,
cleaned loos
made dinner
Nursed dd a bit as she seems a bit off, sneezing and napping longer
Facilitating decorating a treasure chest through gritted teeth without losing temper yey Smile Blush

Need to do ironing Sad

OP posts:
Originalplurker · 01/08/2012 11:46

Morning, are we all still trudging, fumbling or whirlwinding our way through our holiday lists? Smile

Well....laundry in dishwasher on, washed and dressed (brilliant never got a shower yesterday Blush how did that happen MN) breakfast all done however....

Opened dishwasher, soap thingy had not dispensed, put it on again.

Opened washing machine... Oh tesco here?... continues...I had washed a nappy, but all the bits fell onto t towel as it had leaked. So I now have a leak under the sink and the washing machine Hmm. With t towel in hand quick check on grumbling dd on play blanket, Q bits getting everywhere again. I had just hoovered up as I had smashed a glass yesterday and so e had got into lounge. BUT I did find £2.00! I can justify a costa with that and my points.

and OTH I havnt made it to weight watchers.

OP posts:
MrsNouveauRichards · 01/08/2012 13:30

Yes, still trudging here :o

Have done quite well today really and the house is starting to look vaguely as though people live here, rather that a squat that has been burgled! :o

I found a great free app - chore checker lite, it is fun and helps. I did consider one that worked like a computer game :o

Originalplurker · 02/08/2012 05:29

Good good mrs thanks for the tip about the app, though don't know if that lets you chatter to yourself Gin

alemci · 02/08/2012 09:38
