Originalplurker · 23/07/2012 09:30

I have half a day of ds at school and a couple of days grace before I start mt holidays properly with dc's. Why haven't you done it while he was still at school you ask? Well I made the most of last two weeks going out and generally having peace and quiet with 4 month old dd as I know I will get very little from now on.

So

Laundry x approx 6, have backlog due to muggy weather, towels etc, bedding.
Full house clean
Order tesco vouchers
Finish summer list

Done list ( more a you not a lazy sofa surfing cow after all)
Laundry x 2
Cleared up leak
Washed and dressed dc
Cooked breakfast for all three
Fed baby
School run

Random moan, dear weather I just wanted warm not blistering hot, I'm already sunburnt thanks.

By 1030

Spring cleaned master bedroom
Dust
Hoover
Clean windows
Stripped bed
Fold hideous pile of clean clothes into person piles
Tidy it's of clutter on bedside.

That'll do

Well, today not quite so hectic, although DS has gone for a nap already Confused so I should be getting my jobs done now rather than sitting on mumsnet!

Today I will:
Tidy the living room (utter bombsite despite doing it yesterday)
Tidy kitchen (ditto)
Go and do a big shop
Wash, dry and straighten my hair (rather than just wash and let it frizz)
Go and price up new gym clothes for DH
Put on a couple of washloads

But again, think its now brew o'clock Brew Smile

StarryEyedMama · 25/07/2012 09:26

Can I join too please? I was going to start a thread but see that there is one already although this will be a Summer Holiday Organisation not a two day thing sadly.

Today I need to:

Do lots and lots of washing
Clean Kitchen
Sort out DD's room
Find painting stuff so kids can do painting after DS's nap
Look into getting a carer for my Dad
Do an online food shop
Get DD to do some homework
Cook tea
Sort out paperwork
Have driving lesson

Think thats it for today!

Welcome waiting yes we going away at weekend too. DH lastnight said I hope this house is tidied soon, I hate this make me Angry after saying he not bothered, when he really he is. But we are currently in our 'traditional roles' but I'm going to send hide an email soon asking home if he's working hard as I would like him to earn a big bonus, seen as he comments on 'my job'. Grin I'm not sure where that all fits with them on feminist boards!

Born2bemild · 25/07/2012 09:52

Have had a long lie in Blush.
Must get going.

waitingtobeamummy · 25/07/2012 11:21

I'm running late as I've done an hours exercise but so far have: fed cat, let chickens out, hung out washing, bleached sides in kitchen, cleaned floor, tidied kitchen, cleaned oven. Now onto living room!

Originalplurker · 25/07/2012 11:25

OP posts:
Rockchick1984 · 25/07/2012 13:15

What's wrong?

Originalplurker · 25/07/2012 13:42

I'm ashamed to say my patience with Ds (6) whilst dd crying and trying to feed her, nothing major.

He just goes on x 10 til it gets to point where I have to ask him to go away as I can't I'm sat trying to feed dd.

We've had lunch now enjoying some peace n quiet dd has just got to sleep. The two boys aren't here so that is an issue for ds too cue ltd of theories and questions oh god the questions! So I have some mr kiplingfech fancies.

It was very nice of you to ask. How old is ds? Is your list going well?

OP posts:
Rockchick1984 · 25/07/2012 16:17

List is going ok, haven't done the big shop but everything else done along with taking DS to the park so feels like an ok day really. Can always go the supermarket once DH home and DS in bed unlikely Smile

DS is 16 months so I'm still getting used to this whole SAHM/domestic goddess malarkey, that's why I keep coming on these threads to motivate myself to get some jobs done and not just spend all day playing with DS and mumsnetting

How old are your children? The world always seems a happier place with cake in your belly Grin

Originalplurker · 25/07/2012 17:02

rock especially when you've not gone to weight watcher!

Well that's great if you've been out too. Since having dd I have used online shops, but I used to like going to supermarket.

Yes but at your ds age they do need to be played with a bit more than babies!
I'm into my second year of the sahp malarkey and it's took me a while to get used to it, but since havi g dd I've got all the extra groups and so do feel I'm suitably busy.

I frequently fll off the organised house wagon. Mine was actually prompted by u pleasant people so I left housework in a bid to makenewfriends.

Ting one fingered on iPad whilst feeding dd.

I'm going to do a list update soon I did have a little nap this pm, sitting upright!

OP posts:
Originalplurker · 25/07/2012 22:03

OP posts:
Born2bemild · 26/07/2012 09:04

Not so productive yesterday
Did DIY shop
Cleaned French doors and mirrors
Dusted sitting room
That was it!

Today,

Take recycling to the dump
Clean front of kitchen cupboards
Clean out inside of cupboards.

Originalplurker · 26/07/2012 09:24

That wasn't too bad born, sometimes having to go out can really knock you off your stride.

I did wipe round my the inside of my kitchen cupboards and striaighten them up as i put dishes away. I sorted food cupboard. But I didn't give them a full spray and wipe. It's satisfying though when you are cooking and you just reach inside and get exactly what you want without spilling lentils or clattering pans Grin

Ooooh not one room still done completely here, I've even got a half clean bathroom Blush must be done for 12 I'll. Be high on my bloody lavender mr sheen by then

OP posts:
Born2bemild · 26/07/2012 09:54

I seem to be making more mess in the process! It will be better though.

Originalplurker · 26/07/2012 10:08

Yes born you 'find' extra jobs along the way Grin

Out with kids this morning. Then to shops. Then

Sorted the messy spot in hall with new storage and clean
Scrubbed kitchen cupboard fronts and shelves.
Rearranged some of the shelves and cupboards but not all.
Started filling some gaps round the front door.
