Please come and give me a shove .

My house is a tip
I want to start ebaying
I need to send off for passports
Bed needs changing
Need to cook a shepherds pie
sort out washing

So far I have eaten breakfast and gone food shopping and sat on my backside .

I've hardly done anything today. Sat on Mumsnet since about 9 am. Only moved to make coffee. Must get started on something. Waiting for inspiration!

CatsSleepAnywhere · 12/06/2012 13:36

I'll join you today. My excuse is just a daily lack of motivation!
I have loads of washing up to get through

I have just done 1 draining board full. Now trying to decide whether to do more or go out. Hmm

MarySA · 12/06/2012 13:43

I've just hoovered the dining room Wow. Now it's lunchtime.

BumpingFuglies · 12/06/2012 13:55

Yes, I need a kick please. I've got today and tomorrow then I start new job. Just discovered cat has pooed in the bath.
Do NOT want to deal with it.

travellingwilbury · 12/06/2012 14:00

I got fed up waiting for you all and actually went and did something useful Grin

Hoovered front room and tidied and of course I have now made lunch , so half hour break then .

It is just so bloody boring isn't it ?

BumpingFuglies · 12/06/2012 14:01

ZZzzzzzz you're not wrong travelling Smile

travellingwilbury · 12/06/2012 14:04

What I really need is a bigger house , more storage and a cleaner .

Better get lottery tickets

OP posts:
bumpybecky · 12/06/2012 14:09

yes please :)

we were camping last week and the house is still full of muddy camping gear and the laundry mountain is taller than my two smallest children....

travellingwilbury · 12/06/2012 14:23

Unless the children are 18 bumpy then that sounds about normal to me Grin

Right I have got half hour ish before leaving for school so I think I might manage to do something else on the list of dull .

OP posts:
bumpybecky · 12/06/2012 14:36

ouch! well it's too late to do the grocery shopping before school run, so not sure what we'll be eating tonight - no way I'm going shopping with the kids!

the youngest two are 7 and 4 which means my laundry mountain is ok. I might just have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit while I write a list....

MarySA · 12/06/2012 14:38

I need more storage too. I still moan about knocking a coat cupboard through to make the bathroom bigger. And that was 15 years ago. Wish I hadn't done it. And if I do washing it will only mean more ironing and I've already got loads.

ohcluttergotme · 12/06/2012 16:02

How refreshing to know it's not just me who puts off everything! Go on holiday in 3 weeks and only sent off kids passport form last week although had been trying to do it since 9th January...really hope they come soon!
Also have huge pile of clothes on my bed but can't seem to find motivation to put them away and pile just grows daily then back to work tomorrow, was off today and told myself on Sunday I'd put them away today.
I too feel bigger house, cleaner, ironing lady and PA would sort me out please please let me win the lottery tonight! dd home soon so better start the tea, as I'm off today ds has requested mac & cheese yawn kitchen will be a tip soon!

travellingwilbury · 12/06/2012 16:08

So far I have managed to sort out the washing and clean the front room , and I think that is it .

I have however managed to speak to my gp about a hospital appt which I need a re referral for , I have been putting that one of for a couple of months as I have been doing an ostrich impression .

And I have food shopping and I am about to do the shepherds pie so not a total loss I suppose .

Still an awful lot left to do , I might text a friend to pop round for a wine cuppa and that will make me do a mad dash clean up .

Back to work tomorrow Sad

Don't really want to "hijack" the thread but would anyone like to join me today?

I am struggling!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 14/06/2012 12:56

cant sleep, im just writing my list now to start once kids are back from school (currently working) it's getting longer and longer but as i have given morning sickness the slip today i best do something! Blush at doing the bare minimum for the last 9 weeks i've known i was pregnant lol!

CatsSleepAnywhere · 14/06/2012 12:58

I'll try to start after lunch Wink

travellingwilbury · 14/06/2012 13:25

I have just finished work and need a kick again .

I still haven't done the passports
My dh and 6 yr old have man flu .
Downstairs is ok ish but upstairs is turning into a health hazard .

OP posts:
StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 14/06/2012 13:30

i have made my list, it's pretty long but it is in small parts (ie clean kitchen sides, sweep the kitchen floor, wash the kitchen floor)

just to finish work, get kids and crack on with it!

CatsSleepAnywhere · 14/06/2012 13:40

I have washing up to do again before it gets out of hand. Just having some more food --for energy-- then I will get started. Grin

mogs0 · 14/06/2012 15:23

I'll join you too, if I may?

I currently have two sleeping mindees so can't do much until they go home at 4.30.

Last night I spent a couple of hours trying to tidy my bedroom but really all I did was reorganise the chaos. I did manage to change the bedding though and it was lovely waking up this morning in a clean and clear bed...it's usually got a mountain of washed clothes at one end Blush.

Now that there is a bit of floor space I will be better able to sort out the other stuff and try to get rid of as much as possible.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 14/06/2012 15:48

right i am off to start achieving some of what is on my list, hopefully it will be more than 1/2 things lol good luck ladies!

mogs0 · 14/06/2012 17:02

Right, all mindees have gone home and I'm just having a quiet 5 minutes after the chaos that four children (aged 3 and under) brings.

Good luck with your list, staceym!

CatsSleepAnywhere · 14/06/2012 21:40

Didn't manage to get back on the computer earlier but the washing up got done. Grin

travellingwilbury · 19/06/2012 09:44

I am back , day off today so I am going to have breakfast and make yet another bloody list , anyone want to join me ?

OP posts:
tibni · 19/06/2012 09:59

My day off too and I have to get the house clean and tidy so need the kick!

2pm I am having a full assessment on my home to look at adaptions for my disabled son which means they get to poke around everywhere! Shock.

So far I have done the kitchen - all but floor and bin which is soaking and the cloakroom. Lots more to do but I have some good music on and am trying to stay calm!
