I have so much to do and today is the only full day at home that I have got until next monday .

Please come and give me a shove .

My house is a tip
I want to start ebaying
I need to send off for passports
Bed needs changing
Need to cook a shepherds pie
sort out washing

So far I have eaten breakfast and gone food shopping and sat on my backside .

Help !

That is some motivation , I was lying in bed last night thinking how I would feel if I died in my sleep and people had to come in and get me and see the state of the room , cheerful soul aren't I ?

Good luck , you have nearly 4 hours so maybe time for a cuppa first .

Right first on my list is my grubby bedroom (just in case )
Hang some washing out
Ironing
Clean the floors downstairs
Hoover stairs
Clean bathroom

And that is for starters .

Well I thought I was doing ok until I ventured into my dd, 13, bedroom that she assured me was tidy! Lets just say we will be having words later!

I requested this assistance because I need to be able to keep ds safe, I am lucky in so much we have a specific disabled child social worker who facilitated this help and will be attending with his community nurse, many parents dont get this support - but I feel so on show and find it so difficult.

I know I should have a "take me how you find me attitude" - I work fulltime and life isn't exactly straight forward but ......!

Well i'm having a very strong, very back coffee before the next onslaught! Realistically I can only get so much done today but every little bit helps!

Tidy everyroom
Clean kitchen counter chairs table
Hoover downstairs
Mop downstairs
Washing - all washed on the line or folded must be away by end of play.
Utility clear out and clean.

Half an hour to go, last mad dash!

Have remembered to take in my washing from the line near the gate so I don't have studious types discussing safety amidst my bra and thong sets

House isnt perfect, but then that was never going to happen - and I have done a fair bit of hiding stuff! One last push!

You have both managed a lot more than me , I am now in the garden thinking about having a cold beer , Ooops !

He was early! Offered to sit in his van and wait for others but i'm not that unsociable.

It has been really helpful, fitted technology on the spot so fingers crossed I will be able to chill a little and sleep better. Will give ds a better quality of life which is the most important thing.

Shattered now! Physically and emotionally - still stuff to do but i'm having a sit down, its been a long day!

OP - try and get the passports done asap, especially if you are going away this summer. There is a big backlog at the passpart office - a combination of lots of applications and a couple fo weeks ago they had big computer problems.

There have been a few threads on here about passports taking ages and it's been in the news too. The house can wait, get cracking on the passports, just in case they don't come back quickly!!

Thank you wicked , passports were done in Monday , I paid extra for the check and send , I am hoping that will make a difference . Keeping fingers crossed as we are going away in less than five weeks .
