I do need to make sure everything is ready for school before Monday though but I'm just not in the mood at the mo lazy

I need to charge up my phone as it has gone flat.

Scout19075 · 14/04/2012 19:06

Ta Dahs:

Toddler fed and watered as appropriate
MrScout fed and watered as appropriate (though he & I will have dinner as soon as TS goes to bed, in about 15 minutes)
20 minutes decluttering, kitchen
15 minutes decluttering, living room
grocery shopping
groceries put away
dishes from today washed
trip to garden center (and TS got to run around their soft play area while MrScout & I had a drink)

To Dos:
take out trash
take out recycling (thanks to decluttering I've filled another carrier bag)
divide up (repackage) all meat products and freeze (bulk bought as it's a lot cheaper so will divide it all into portion sizes and freeze)
make dinner for MrScout and I
clean up dinner dishes
email MiL & MomScout story from garden center/soft play (it's one of those incidents that a grandma would love to hear)

Scout19075 · 15/04/2012 09:46

Morning!

Ta Dahs:
Toddler & I are up
Toddler's been fed & watered
breakfast dishes cleared away
bit of decluttering in the kitchen while Toddler ate
Toddler' did a bit of "finger painting" (we were given some of the Crayola Color Wonder/Mess Free stuff for Christmas and it has suddenly become a draw for TS)
Diaper Bag restocked

MrScout has just asked Toddler if he'd like a shower I haven't seen TS move that quickly in days ("Bye trains, upstairs shower!"). I'll go help with the drying when they're done. Until then, ten minutes to myself and it saves me from bathing him this evening YAY! Another job to be ticked off my weekend To Do list.

CamperWidow · 16/04/2012 08:52

Morning all!
Ta Da:
up and dressed
fed and watered
shiny sink
swish and swipe in bathroom
checked calender
wm on

To Do:
Mother and toddlers
table hotspot
carry on potty training
order dvds off amazon Grin
scrub bathroom floor
wipe over all the doors
what's for dinner

Going to try and get Lollipop helping in the bathroom again. I pop her in the empty bath with a wipe and she cleans the inside of the bath and the tops while I do the rest of the room! Grin Also am stealing a Supernanny idea of being a 'Toy Ranger'. She gets a special hat and has to tidy all her toys away, basically, but with a bit more fuss and oomph.

CatsSleepAnywhere · 16/04/2012 09:25

Morning all, I have lots to do --but can't be bothered to list it yet--
My first things to do are:
finish Brew
have a shower --while there is noone home to disturb me--
later I may need to rescue living room from toy carnage.

Morning chaps! We've been away for a wedding so much washing and sorting to be done. I'm waiting for the Tesco van (8-10 slot, so still in my dressing gown - had really hoped it would be early Hmm)

Ta dahs:
DW on
WM on
Bag of assorted travel food in the hall gone through and mostly junked

Now off to properly unpack my and DD's bags from yesterday while keeping an ear out for the van. Got to leave for work by 11.30.

Longtalljosie · 16/04/2012 09:43

Oh CamperWidow - you're potty training too! What a joy it is...

Scout19075 · 16/04/2012 10:00

Good morning!

Ta Dahs:
Toddler & I are up Grin (An achievement as I feel sluggish and flat)
Toddler's breakfasted
Last night's pans washed up Blush
20 minutes "declutter" in Toddler's room (decluttering involved putting loads of old papers into a file box and adding it to the growing pile of boxes for the loft as well as discovering clothes, stuffed animals, Guide print outs etc that have been properly decluttered into keep, donate, bin/recycle)
created a lovely pile by the door of things for the recycling bin or tip (cardboard recycling and cloth recycling)

My To Do list is a bit lengthy today.

To Do:
Get Toddler & I dressed
washing up for Monday
wash down stove
separate meat & freeze
prep Toddler's flower seeds (we did veg seeds last week) -- we're growing them inside first
iron MrScout's work shirts (have about 10 to do)
declutter ironing board so I can iron above shirts
take recycling to bin
trip to tip
Tesco -- recycling (you can get club card points which we then turn into air miles which help towards our trip home)
Tesco -- get bits & pieces we missed from weekend shop as well as milk top up
email MiL
write letters/cards (x3)
print origami instructions
outside with Toddler (walk? playground?)

What I'd like to do but don't know if I'll get to:
strip Toddler's bed
remake Toddler's bed
strip our bed
remake our bed
go to launderette to do huge load of sheets (our washer barely holds our fitted sheet and I just want to do them all at once and be done)
go to Guiding village to return craft stuff and find out where the duck pond is for Wednesday's Seniors meeting (and feed ducks while there)
pack up for Wednesday's Seniors meeting
make play dough for Wednesday's Seniors meeting
post office -- post packages & letters and bulk buy stamps

sarahfreck · 16/04/2012 11:45

Hi there!
I hope it is OK for me to join in. I work from home and really need to get more structure and organisation into my day. Not sure how this will work as MN is a top procrastination tool but here goes:

Ta Das:
Car taken to garage to replace exhaust ( fell off on Saturday when I was visiting used car places because I'm thinking of replacing my car. Obviously current car objects to this and is letting me know!)
A load of washing done and out on the line
Done an hour of work including some (much needed) tidying and cleaning of workroom.

To Dos (just today!):
Prepare 3 lessons
Tidy kitchen and wipe round surfaces
Collect car
take out recycling to bins
teach 3 lessons
(hopefully) carry on with woodgraining/craft project before the sight of paintbrushes in the kitchen sink gets totally on my nerves and my spare room becomes a total black hole of gloom, clutter, dirt and darkness (it is hard to clean round such a diy project as bits of it are everywhere!)

zoo - I know the feeling - I wasn't working last week and had problems motivating myself although it would have made this week much easier if I had!
I finally got on with some stuff by telling myself "You don't have to feel like doing it or do it perfectly, just make a start!" Looking forward to hearing what you have made a start on this afternoon!

carrots - I'm impressed ( and jealous that you are baking muffins).

carrotsandcelery · 16/04/2012 12:20

Hi Sarah, welcome to the thread. You sound like you will fit right in here.

What do you do in your workroom?

Ta Da:

Spent ages packaging Ponyville for ebay - that counts as decluttering in my book Grin

sarahfreck · 16/04/2012 13:27

Hi carrots. Thank you for the welcome. Don't mention ebay! I've got a load of books sitting waiting for me to put on that have been in the cupboard for much longer than I care to remember a while. Getting rid of stuff via ebay is definitely decluttering.

I am a private tutor and have a workroom where I can do preparation and admin and teach some of the children. (I travel to the homes of others, hence the need to collect the car asap). It is a lovely big bright room with oodles of work and storage space but still tends to get cluttered and messy because I get busy can always find better things to do than filing and tidying and have a tendency to hang on to loads of stuff "just in case".

Ta Da's since last post
Prepared one lesson!
Just off to collect car and find out how many more lessons I have to teach in order to pay for it!

Kitchen tasks looking less and less likely Blush
