We are off up to ds's bedroom in a mo for a deep clean.

Well done carrots! I've had a busy morning (DD settling in session at nursery, courgette / tomato seedlings potted and put in greenhouse, 2 hanging baskets done with DD's help when she came back. She's now napping and I'm going for a blitz!

Here's the plan.

15 minute room rescues for:
Kitchen
Lounge
Hall

10 minute room rescues for:
Study
Dining room.

Then if I'm feeling up to it I'll either steam mop the kitchen floor or have a go at cleaning the spare room mattress which I stupidly left unsheeted and has been rolled on by a muddy cat.

Right. Reporting back in 65 minutes!

cats what did you get done?

ive managed to clean the cupboard under the stairs so if kits snout in there wont be trapped by an avalanche!

want try and get TD under there as it will free up lot space in the kitchen and im trying not to use it to save electric anyway and if have haul out cupboard will def make me think twice

right off to attempt that and continue cat proofing

I am trying to do 2 jobs at same time, MNetting and shredding paperwork.

I am trying to conserve my energy for making dinner as I feel pretty tired today.

careful you dont mix up the two Cats ive been known to nearly eat my mobile whilst texting and eating

must be catching ive not got any energy or motivation today.am sitting here when ive got loads to do

Well - that was satisfying!

TBH it was more sorting than cleaning - but all to the good. DD's toys organised as well - some put away, some dragged from the bottom of the toybox and put out for her. Letters organised and a "to do" list so we don't forget to eg review the pet insurance. And I vacuumed the living room and hall. But bugger the steam mop, I'm watching telly with my reward

Thanks for the kind wishes, I am going to rest till about 4.00 then I will try and sort our dinner and any washing up etc.

Well done on the cupboard zoo and I am glad you got the filing sorted Cats

Ds and I have decluttered and tidied his bedroom and the landing.

They still need a thorough clean but have had an initial thorough hoovering. I will have to hoover again once I have dusted etc but it is a start.

Dd is now collected and has tidied up the bits and bobs of hers that we found in ds's room

Pup is also home from a long romp with a friend and has made muddy footprints all over my newly hoovered hall carpet.

I have also decluttered 2 huge bags of dd's school stuff and art work.

Progress is being made.

The lounge is now a total disgrace as it is full of stuff to ebay.

I will ask for a daily boot to list a few things everyday to get through it all.

i have cleared the sunniest window sill in the kitchen

i suspect if they are like my last cat they will,however,knock stuff off the uncleared one and sit there instead!

i am making dinnner early tonight as i have ablanket to crochet for dd2 cot

I think you are doing pretty well as well. What a team we are

We are having an early tea as well as dd was frantic with hunger after a day outside with the ponies.

I have got the dw on and the worktops cleared as I went along so the kitchen doesn't look too bad if you ignore the table where ds has been decorating egg shaped biscuits.

ive just packed the zoolets upstairs,dd2 hair rolled up in bits old t-shirt-she has fine hair so ive more than liberaly doused it in hairspray in the hope tomorrow there will be culs
poor dd2-ds and little zoo have thick lush hair in pale blond,ds curly short but as below his sholders the ends just lightly curling,little zoo soft waves through it.both hold a french plait in beautifullyand hangs next day in soft waves all daywithout need for ever a hint styling products.
similiarly little zoo and ds are super skinnypoor dd2 has pot belly and wobbles a little as she runsand had brownish hair with ginger tints and freckles.in the summer she goes lobster whilst the other 2 brown and their hair lightens,hers excentuates the ginger!

I was ginger as a small child zoo and am now a strawberry blonde. I am also "curvy" and wobble a little on the rare occasions when I run. I am also very freckly and go lobster if I am not lathered in factor 50, even if I am only out for 10 mins when it is sunny. Your dd2 and I seem to have a lot in common

Watch out for her in her late teens - I got a lot of attention

dd2 was up at 5.30 but ive been chatting with her so todays early ta da goes like this
